Lunch Day 2
Sri Lanka 456 for 5 (110 overs)
Samaraweera 86* (127)
Kaluwithrn 74* (105)

S.Harmison 20.0-5-56-0
A.Giles 18.0-5-59-1

Its been a bad session for england giving away 152 runs of just 28 overs at a runrate of 5.42. Without losing a wicket it is proving a extremely good session for Sri Lanka and the English will soon if they don't take wickets be anticipating a declaration.

Aaaah good luck saving this one. You need a partnership and a BIG one. What's Michael vaughan doing bowling 20 overs? surely the pacers must not be that ineffective. late.r

he was constantly getting chances and i was bowling him in tandem with Giles, M.Vaughan was doing well at the crease before he was out bowled by Samaraweera.

With only a few overs left untill tea on the 4th day and england are 4 wickets down for 98 runs, Murali has taken 3 and Jayasuriya 1, Murali is showing why he is the leading wicket taker in the world with some 1st class bowling. Key is not out on 32 with Flintoff at the other end, these two are batting well and have steady the ship. It will be vital for England not to lose another wicket today. So do you think it will be a win for Sri Lanka or a draw for England.

going back to the AI discussions, it is very strange why a captain would declare with a batsmen on 94. Although that's what Ganguly did with sachin on 195. Perhaps the game is ahead of us and is showing that team play is ahead of individual play!
