Waqar Younis: We are fine batting second. The pitch is green and the weather is grey/warm which should give our fast bowlers the advantage because they might not tire easily.
England have reached 226 for 9 at the end of 20 overs. At one point they were in deep trouble at 123 for 7 after another familiar middle order collapse. Luckily Gough still remembered his batting skills and with his help Collingwood took them past the 200 mark.
Earlier White and Vaughan had a good partnership of 67 after Trescothick was out in the 1st over. But later Razzaq and Saqlain picked some quick wickets to bring Pakistan back in the game.
So a good total by England considering the collapse and pitch, weather conditions. All the chances of a close contest here :argue:
Unfortunately Pakistan lost a wicket in the 1st over (slogged to long on)..Not sure if Auwais can play a new inning or has to continue this one.. I'll leave it to Rangeela,UnderTaker to decide..
