There is a difference between true HD and upscaled HD. Tatasky channels are true HD. And does videocon/airtel has the recorder function? Its the best feature of tata sky for me. I record bunch of my fav programs and watch them whenever i get time.

Airtel only counts actual HD channels as HD channels and not all 'good quality' channels like Reliance and Dish TV.

And yes, recording featuring is obviously there. I have recorded Sehwag's 175 and WC final in HD, and I love to see it whenever I'm free, especially India's WC triumph celebration.
