Don't you guys think that Kings XI should play Tye for Curran and get Henriques for Pooran? Make Rahul keep? I think with Shami and Tye at the death and their spin in the middle, they can be one of the really top bowling sides.

It's time up for Henriques I guess because, he no longer looks as good what he used to be 2-3 years ago. Pooran is a natural hitter of the ball and along with that he is young and ruthless so he can always prove to be more effective than Henriques at Present. Also he had a good CPL last year

Cheatwin is such an amazing captain! Year after year Narine has feasted on spinners bowling in the power play! Yet he chose a spinner to open the bowling. And the coward decided to throw a youngster into the deep end and not himself. He could have got Lynn out at least!

Miller is very unpredictable in my opinion. He can be brilliant or awful.

Robin (now called Robbie) has been doing this for us year after year. He is so consistent in IPL just like Suresh Raina.

Why according to you (or any member on this forum) the players who perform in IPL don't do well in International LO-Cricket ?

I think Varun Chakravarthy would've known by now that what is the difference in bowling in TNPL on sub-standard batting pitches and bowling on dead flat pitches in IPL mean. But it was just his first match so can't say much either.

Because the pressure is different. Think about this scenario

a) You are playing in IPL with 15-20 players, you perform and you have a secure environment so you enjoy and play freely.
b) You get selected for the national side, you have to perform to maintain your place every time you go out. There is no room for error since there are other 1000 of players waiting to take your place.

International cricket is serious business since you have more competition, IPL you can get away with a bad season. Look at Yusuf Pathan, I do not remember when he had a good IPL season? Still he is playing in IPL.

But then if you look at few players who had actually performed well in International Cricket after playing more in IPL they don't. Is it because of more T20 games or just a subjective matter with few players ?

He was asked to bowl to the most destructive bloke against spin in the power play. Narine doesn't really care if he gets out. I wouldn't serve Rashid Khan to him in the power play but Cheatwin had to protect himself. I think it was a very tough call on a bloke making his debut with a huge money bag attached to him!
