Mongoose Bat

He's speaking in regard to the increase in run-rates of Test Cricket and the use of more innovative shots which were originally only really used in T20.

Shows me for not watching the video beyond that point :laugh

this is whats up. I just read Ashraful got sponsored by Mongoose bat. on ODI and Test matches he will use regular bat with Mongoose sticker on it. and he will use the new Mongoose bat in T20. (as ICC havent recognized the bat yet for OD and Test)

and they gave him a deal to hit 6x6 for 50k US. :sarcasm

thats not much, unless you times it by 55-60 and make it into Bangladeshi money

He's using a Mongoose CoR3 in Test at the moment.

Isnt the bat very strange?

Anyways hope he scores some big runs and helps CSK in thier win

Wow, are you serious? That looks fliping ridiculous. Talk about long handle, that better have some middle.

Silly Matthew, your just supposed to autograph those mini bats, not play with them

He'll still be hitting maximums.

TBH, I really just want to see Gilly bat tonight.

Lou Vincent and Peter McGlashan used that bat at times during the HRV cup. A decent fast bowler will put paid too using it though.

This is ridiculous for me. Not really a fan of so many uncalled innovations.

Ah, the Mongoose. There was a thread about it here somewhere on PC. It's design is supposed to maximise bat speed while having the same strength as a regular bat. Plus it's lightweight, so you are supposedly able to hit further and harder with this bat.

But the small area of the actual bat probably means he'll be playing and missing a lot more.

Can someone get a video of those bats? (min bats or whatever)

It's gonna be a advantage for the big man, truly six six six!!!!
