When asked on their FB page about the chances of having more than 3 commentators, this was their reply -

Should have spend the money on getting a career mode instead of commentators , 3 are more than enough.

As long as those 3 have LOTS of things to say then yes 3 is enough. If however they have as many phrases as the last two games had then I would murder for an extra few more.
