Kimmorley has been the form halfback of the competition and this is his last year at the Sharks in which I think it has been his best for a couple.

It was an alright game, we should have been up by more than 14 at half time, we kept getting so close!

Hopefully we'll make it 8 in a row next week against the Raiders but it wont be the easiest game then the real test comes as we go down to melbourne to play em full strength!

Finally a team we are the bogey team for We again outplayed the Storm in the first half only for 5 minutes of Storm magic coupled with our usual rubbish penalties. I still feel Carney isn't a halfback but with no one to stand up into the position we are stuck with him there.

Early in the season I was very impressed with Carney, I was shouting for him to be picked for origin. His kicking game was brilliant and he always looked dangerous with the ball. Seems as though things have gone quiet for him lately. I wish there was a betting option for Raiders "not" to get the spoon, I couldn't believe at the beginning of the year when they were easy favourites for the spoon, I kept saying theres no way they would get it. I was right

As for my team, 4 in a row and we're leaving the spoon behind If I die in the near future, its because of a Rabbitohs game! LOL!

7 in a row, we did very good but we dropped off the pace and intesity. The defence was poor, we let them run onto us and they gained way to much metres. Our attack was always going sideways, looked promision but developed to nothing. We just didn't want it enough and I'm really pissed off.

I thought we would have a good chance in Melbourne next week but after todays game I'm reconsidering if we will manage to keep our record of being the only team not to lose by 13+

Definitely, Daley even stated he should be 5/8. But it seems Carney wants to play halfback which is stated is his contract so we are stuck with him there. As long as we can get an organizer at 5/8 then it doesn't matter if Carney is at halfback.

Anyway big game against the Roosters, if we want to stay in the finals hunt this is the game to win.

Geez the Raiders are playing some good footy. Carney is kicking 40/20s all over the place, with Campo learning the arc. Our backline is really starting to hit form and our forward pack especially the bench is winning the battle up front.

Any idea what he & Goodwin are supposed to have done? All I can find on the net says "an incident at a Canberra nightspot" which could mean more-or-less anything.

Must be pretty serious for them both to be stood down indefinitely tho. Pretty much screws the Raiders' chance of finals footy too.

The complaint has been dropped against Carney so the Raiders are spared from having to make a tough decision. But had he been sacked one of the NRL clubs would have picked him up just like we did with Tilse.
