I'd never heard of iPlayer before. BBC, that's why. Over in Eng-er-land. Sounds convenient though.

Just checked. This is true as long as you're only watching on-demand, and not watching anything which is simultaneously being broadcast live.

Well you can watch BBC channels live online, which I think falls under iPlayer, even though it's not at bbc.co.uk/iplayer/ according to the BBC iPlayer FAQ.

Correct. I can watch BBC and ITV live online. Generally I just use iPlayer.
No-ones asked for a TV license but technically I should pay one yeah.

As to why I don't have a tele. Don't need one. Internet covers everything these days and pub for sports.

Not if you have a specialist batsman on strike at the end of an over with a tailender for company.

I am assuming that in this case all the fielders were in the circle and he wanted sufficient power in the shot to get the ball past the close-in fielders to get a single but not enough power to reach the boundary.

Maybe it's going to be harder to hit boundaries therefore they've implemented a power control???

I think it's the other way round. It's so easy to hit boundaries that now ppl can reduce the power in their shots to get 1s and 2s instead of hitting 4s most of the time.

I for one will try to getscore a century in a test match without hitting a single 4
