Planetcricket IC10 Q&A thread discussion

I'd never heard of iPlayer before. BBC, that's why. Over in Eng-er-land. Sounds convenient though.

Does anyone know if there will be a way to choose the amount of power you want in a shot. Everytime I go for a single I end up getting a four... :facepalm

Correct. I can watch BBC and ITV live online. Generally I just use iPlayer.
No-ones asked for a TV license but technically I should pay one yeah.

As to why I don't have a tele. Don't need one. Internet covers everything these days and pub for sports.

Bad times? Surely you want more runs...

Just aim it at the fielder on the boundary

I am assuming that in this case all the fielders were in the circle and he wanted sufficient power in the shot to get the ball past the close-in fielders to get a single but not enough power to reach the boundary.

Maybe it's going to be harder to hit boundaries therefore they've implemented a power control???

I think it's the other way round. It's so easy to hit boundaries that now ppl can reduce the power in their shots to get 1s and 2s instead of hitting 4s most of the time.

I for one will try to getscore a century in a test match without hitting a single 4 :)
