Wow - always interesting to see an old thread like this pop back up again - and see my old post from 12 years ago.
AMD Sempron64 2600+ (1.6ghz)
ASUS K8V-MX Motherboard
256mb RAM (I hope to get more soon)
64mb Integrated S3 Unichrome Pro Graphics (Really Shitty, I want a nvida)
1x 80gb Western Digital HD
1x 2gb Unknown HD
LG 16x DVD
CyberDrive 52x/24x/52x CD-RW
3 1/4' floppy drive
Un-branded white case
17" Acer AC711 Monitor
OS: Ubuntu Breezy Badger 5.10 (32 bit) and Windows XP SP2 (32 bit)

That computer in my post there was actually a huge upgrade for me at the time, my previous machine at the time would have been an IBM 300PL - a ~500MHz Pentium 3 with a ATI Rage Pro 8MB graphics card. Most notably was that it wasn't good enough for Cricket 2005, though still ran 2004 (poorly).

I don't have a really fancy machine today, and I'm not planning an upgrade any time soon, as it all still works well enough for what I need.

Intel Core i3-4160 3.6GHz
ASRock B85M Pro 3 Motherboard
8GB DDR3 RAM
AMD Radeon R9 270 2GB
120GB Intel SSD
2x 1TB + 1x 2TB HDDs
Pioneer Blu-Ray Reader/DVD/CD writer
Corsair Carbide 100R Silent Mid Tower case
27" Viewsonic 1080p LED monitor
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

And a photo for good measure:
