After months of droppings in rating and other such unfortunate events for the WWE, Vince McMahon has to do something fast. He has decided to change around much of the rosters of his shows, and add another brand to his armoury, which will allow many of his development talent to step up to the big stage. Hopefully the changes will bring about the glory of the olden days, and make WWE a defiant leader in the race for the worlds best Wrestling Promotion.

WWE.com today learnt that Shane McMahon and his father Vince, will open Monday Night Raw, and hit back at the critics. They will announce some upcoming matches, and announce new No1 contenders for certain titles. The Chairman of the Board told us "We have recently been criticised for boring wrestling and little drama, and now its our turn to fight back and show the critics the real WWE. This week on RAW, you will be shocked and astonished, and you will witnesses matches and drama you would never have dreamed of" Who knows what will happen, tune in to RAW, Live this Monday Night to find out.​

Welcome to Monday Night RAW
Vince McMahon’s music plays and Vince and Shane stroll to the ring. They talk about how they will show the critics that WWE is the best wrestling company in the world, and they announce some big news for tonight’s RAW. McMahon said “In our shuffle, we moved away several of the top contenders for a shot at John Cena’s title. So tonight we will determine who the new Number One contender is. At this Mr Kennedy’s music plays and he strolls to the ring. He then gobs off about how he is the best on RAW, and there is no need for a Number One contenders tournament. Vince tells him to shut up, and if he’s so good he will face an opponent of Vince’s choice now. He then announces that on tonight’s Raw, there will be three matches, and one of those being Mr Kennedy’s match, and the winner of those matches will advance to tonight’s main event, which will be a triple threat match to determine the new Number One Contender. At this Snitsky’s music plays and he walks to the ring, looking as scary as ever. Vince and Shane exit, with big smiles on there faces as Snitsky’s throws a vulnerable Mr Kennedy around the ring.

Match 1: Snitsky vs Mr Kennedy
Snitsky throws Mr Kennedy all over the ring, as Mr Kennedy attempts to fight back with punches and kicks. Kennedy is thrown out of the ring, and is lying near the steel steps. Snitsky smashed Mr Kennedy’s arm against the steps, and badly hurts it. Snitsky tries to utilise the injury, and Mr Kennedy is again thrown out of the ring. Snitsky almost gets counted out, and Mr Kennedy throws him into the steel steps. Snitsky gets angered and picks up a steel chair, smashing Kennedy with it, over and over. He is disqualified and angrily walks from the ring. Mr Kennedy is through to the Triple Threat match, but will he be able to fight.

Match 2: Melina & Beth Phoenix vs. Candice Michelle & Mickie James.
After 10 minutes of hard fought, women’s fighting, Candice & Mickie finally get the upper hand, after Candice hits the Candywrapper on Melina. Melina is pinned and its all over. So who will next challenge Candice for the Women’s Championship?

Match 3:CM Punk vs. Brian Kendrick.
CM Punk looked to have the upper hand, all the way, with kicks to the head, and he even hit the Shining Wizard on Kendrick. But Kendrick somehow kicked out, and out of nowhere he pulled out some high risk manoeuvres, flying over and off the top rope. Kendrick eventually pinned Punk, to cause a big shocker.

Match 4: King Booker vs. Sandman
King Booker enters the ring, doing all his royal malarkey, but Sandman cuts his music and enters from high in the arena. He races to the ring, attacking Booker from behind to get the match underway. In a hard fought match, lasting almost 30 minutes, taking many twists and turns, somehow The Sandman prevails after he countered Bookers scissor kick, giving him the DDT and then a Side Russian legsweep, before the pin. Sandman celebrates by hitting Booker several times with the singapore cane, and chasing Sharmell.

Match 5: The Worlds Greatest Tag Team vs JTG & Shad.
A quickfire contest, lasting less than ten minutes, in which Shelton Benjamin is shoved off the top rope, onto the matting below and Charlie Haas is double teamed in the center of the ring several times before being pinned.

Main Event: Mr Kennedy vs Brian Kendrick vs The Sandman
The Sandman & Brian Kendrick team and go after Kennedy. Kennedy fakes an injury and roles out of the ring laying there. Sandman & Kendrick brawl, as Kendrick hits some high flying moves and Sandman hits some typical Sandman moves like the Legdrop and his finisher the Senton Bomb. He goes for the pin, and Kennedy rushes in and stops the pin, and is beaten by Sandman before rolling out of the ring again. Again Kendrick & Sandman brawl, and Snitsky’s, clearly angry comes to the ring, after Kennedy. He throws Kennedy into the ring, who is beaten by Sandman who hits the Side Russian legsweep, but Kendrick stops it. Both then go for the closeline, and lay in a heep on the floor, Kendrick appears to be out, and Sandman doesn’t look much better, the move was hit so hard. Kennedy crawls across the ring, and pins Kendrick to become the Number One Contender. Kennedy celebrates, and his mic comes down, but Cenas music plays and Cena comes to the ring. Cena and Kennedy stare each other down and again Snitsky runs to the ring, attacking Kennedy from behind. Snitsky leaves as Kennedy lay in the corner, and when he gets up Cena gives him the FU in the middle of the ring. Raw then goes off air.

[The Spin]

Good stuff on the whole. A couple of points though which could be improved

Intro - Good stuff, nice announcement. Sounds like a good vision for Raw. The problem is that you have Kennedy and Snitsky, both are heels, against one another. Always try for Face/Heel.

Kennedy/Snitsky - Good that Snitsky seems psycotic, builds his character well, but Kennedy being so totally beaten makes him look weak. It means Snitsky looks stronger than him. Something you need to think about there.

Womens - Short and to the point. No problems other than whether it would be 10mins long

Kendrick/Punk - Kendrick won? I think Punk is the guy who should be at the top personally. Kendrick doesnt have enough character to be a legitimate challenger.

Booker/Sandman - 30 mins? Raw is only 2 hours long so having a 30min match is unrealistic in the extreme. Sandman winning seemed somewhat random.

WGTT/Cryme Tyme - The double team would be broken up, plus Cryme Tyme are Faces, so they wouldn't use heel tactics like that. Cryme Tyme winning devalues WGTT somewhat.

Kennedy/Kendrick/Sandman - A clothesline layed Kendrick and Sandman out? Its not that strong. Kennedy being injured and still winning makes Kendrick and Sandman look weak, and makes CM Punk and King Booker look even weaker, since they lost to guys who lost to an injured guy. Still, I have no problems with Kennedy in the Main Event scene. He deserves it. I don't get what Snitsky is going to do now though, since Kennedy is challenging Cena.
