Welcome to Thursday Night Heat
Heats music plays, and as soon as it finishes playing, and all the pyro has finished, Jonathan Coachman’s music plays and he makes stands at the top of the stage. “Welcome to the very first edition of the new brand in World Wrestling Entertainment, Heat. Tonight I will make the show extremely exciting and I have some big matches in line for you, along with a special guest. As it’s the first edition, the matches will be randomly picked by a computer, which will add to the excitement” Coachman then walks off and on the screen the computer flicks through pictures of the whole roster. The computer stops and the first pick is Super Crazy. His music plays and he runs to the ring. The computer rolls through the roster once more and the next pick is Mike Knox.
Super Crazy vs. Mike Knox
A relatively rapid contest, in which to begin with Mike Knox overpowered the much smaller Super Crazy, with hard punches and kicks to the sternum. Knox then went for the Bicycle Kick, but Super Crazy countered, hitting a Missile Dropkick, a crazy bomb, and then the Trifecta, before the pin.
The screen then shows the roster again, and the next pick is Cody Rhodes. His music plays and he makes his way to the ring, standing in the centre. The screen shows the roster once more and the next pick is the massive Jacob Duncan. He walks to the ring, ready for the match to begin.
Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Duncan
Duncan overpowers Rhodes from the start, but Rhodes shows resilience and won’t go down without a fight. He counters Duncan on several occasions, bringing the big man to the floor. He then goes for the flying crossbody as Duncan gets back to his feet, but Duncan catches Rhodes in mid-air. He gives young Rhodes a military press which turns into a spinebuster. As Rhodes gets back to his feet, Duncan executes the big boot. But Rhodes won’t stay down; Duncan gives him a huge chokeslam…1, 2, 3...its all over.
The cameras cut backstage, and Jonathan Coachman is talking to Mr McMahon on the phone, telling him how great the show is. Jacob Duncan walks into the office, and takes the phone off Coachman. He tells Coachman that he is demanding a title match, after such a devastating defeat. The cameras then cut back to the arena.
The big screen then shows the roster again, and the next pick is Paul Burchill. His music airs and he runs to the ring. The roster is displayed again, and the second pick is Chuck Palumbo. Chuck drives down the ramp on his bike, and around the ring.
Paul Burchill vs. Chuck Palumbo
Burchill attacks the back of Palumbo’s legs and his knees and brings him to the floor. He climbs to the top rope, but Palumbo gets up, and pulls Burchill to the floor. As Burchill gets up, Palumbo bounces off the rope and goes for the closeline, but Burchill ducks and once more attacks the back of Palumbo’s legs. Burchills hits the standing moonsault, and then goes for the Senton Bomb, but Palumbo lifts Burchill from the top rope, and gives him the 187, and then the Full Throttle. 1, 2, 3…and its all over.
The arena goes quiet, and then suddenly Batista music plays. Batista walks out onto the ramp.
Jim Ross: O my, Batista is hear tonight, but what does he want on Heat? He is signed to Smackdown. Well I guess we are about to find out.
Batista is wearing a suit, and smart shoes. He walks halfway down the ramps as his pyro goes off and then he makes his way to the ring and grabs a mic. “Tonight, as you already know, is the very first edition, of Heat. As the superstars are all pretty young, and new to the WWE, I am going to make a challenge, for tonight. If anyone wants to come down here, right now, and fight me, they can do so. If the competitor wins they will automatically be placed, in the very first match for the new title, that’s right here on Heat. So who, if anyone wants to challenge me tonight”? Several seconds pass and nobody comes out. “Come on, there has to be someone”. Vladimir Khoslov’s, music plays and he strolls down the ramp. He picks up a mic and stands face to face with Batista. Batista goes to shake Khoslov’s hand but he pushes his hand away which infuriates Batista. “I love the Double, Double E, and right now, I am the best wrestler here. I could beat anyone, from The Great Khali to The Undertaker. I have no need to accept Batista’s challenge, as I will be in the title match anyway, and its obvious Batista is no match for Vladimir Khoslov. Batista laughs in Khoslovs face, takes a step back and punches him right in the mouth, knocking Khoslov to the floor. He then rips his shirt off and closelines Khoslov, before spearing him in the centre of the ring. Khoslov gets up and then receives a spine buster from Batista. Heat then goes off air.
