Friday Night Smackdown
As Smackdown comes on air, Edge is in the centre of the ring with his mic. He talks about how he is unbeatable and has beaten any superstar put before him in his career. At this Matt Hardys music plays and he walks out. He talks about how he has beaten him before, and its now time he does it again. He challenges Edge to a match later tonight. Edge accepts, claiming he will win with ease.

Match 1: Batista vs. Deuce & Domino (2 on 1 Handicap match)
Batista overpowers Deuce, pushing him and Irish whipping him into the corner. He then closelines him, then takes a quick look at Cherry. After more brawling in the ring, Deuce countered Batista, and then quickly got the tag. Domino enters and is punished by Batista. He is closelined and then speared in the centre of the ring. Once he gets up, Batista goes for the Batista Bomb, and as he is in the air, Deuce comes from behind and gives Batista the low blow. Deuce & Domino are disqualified and leave the ring as Batista lay there.

Backstage: Finlay is walking through the arena. He takes a turn left, around a dark corner and walks into something very tall. It’s Kane! Kane gets mad with Finlay and throws him against some chain fencing, and tells Finlay not to mess around with him anymore!

Match 2: Finlay vs. Eugene
Finlay looks dazed, and Eugene takes advantage. He hit the DDT, but Finlay fought back easily defeating Eugene with a small array of moves, before the pin. As Finlay was getting ready to leave the ring, the arena went dark and then the ringposts erupted in flames.

Ashley’s music plays and she walks out to a huge ovation. She takes the mic and talks about her suspension and what she did in her time away.

The camera cuts to Teddy Long’s office where he is sat with Kristal. Finlay bursts into the office; he shouts in Teddy’s face that he wants Kane. Teddy Long tells Finlay that he can have his wish and at Summerslam it will be Finlay vs. Kane…in a hardcore match.

Match 3: Jimmy Wang Yang & Hornswoggle vs. Jamie Noble & Chavo Guerrero
Wang Yang & Noble start off the match up. After hitting several high flying moves Noble gets the advantage by tagging in Guerrero and double teaming Wang Yang. Wang Yang then hits the corner backflip kicks and tags in Hornswoggle. Hornswoggle, then comes face to face with Noble who kicks him around the ring with ease. It appears Finlay comes from under the ring, but in fact he comes out of the crowd, and into the ring, hitting Noble with the shalelay. Hornswoggle then pins Noble. At this Kane’s music plays and he walks to the ring. Finlay advances into the crowd, and Kane stands in the middle of the ring, and signals the ringposts to explode into flames for the second time tonight.

Chris Masters talks to Vickie Guerrero saying he wants to become the new United States Champion. She tells him if he beats his opponent tonight, at Summerslam he will be in a match for the title, against any opponent willing to take the challenge.

Match 4: Ric Flair vs Chris Masters
The young powerful Masters overpowers the much older Flair, who retaliates with chop after chop. After several minutes of counters, Masters hits the Masterlock on Flair in the centre of the ring. There is no going back, and the ref calls for the bell. Its all over. Flair collapses in the centre of the ring and the merciless Masters gives Flair stamp after stamp to the head. Batista runs to the ring to rescue Flair and Masters quickly exits. Batista grabs a mic, and tells Masters that he accepts the challenge and at Summerslam he will be winning the United States Championship.

Match 5: Edge vs Matt Hardy
Both competitors are ready and then Edge takes the mic. He tells Matt Hardy that seen as he is the best in WWE he does not have anything to prove, therefore has no need to compete tonight. Instead Hardy will be competing against this man. At that the Great Khali walks into the ring, advancing for Hardy. He overpowers Hardy, giving him a chop to the head, and then the chokebomb, before a pin in the centre of the ring. Edge and Khali then leave the ring, and as they are walking back Teddy Long’s music plays and he walks out.
“Wait right there playas. What you have done tonight Edge, is a terrible thing, done only by a coward. We lets see how much of a coward you are, because at Summerslam you will be defending your title. And your opponent will be Matt Hardy!!
Hola, Hola.

good show..intresting to see batista as a mid carder and not a main eventer.

Well he's more of an upper midcarder rather than a proper midcarder.

Now i'm just waiting for Chez's verdict :p

No, he's a Main Eventer :p.

Looks a bit cluttered. Try bolding the match, for example: Finlay vs Eugene. A little too critical, but I believe it'll make the presentation neater. Jimmy Wang Yang partnering with Hornswoggle is a no no. It would've been better if you'd used someone else like Funaki. Don't like the way Matt Hardy jobs to Khali. As Chez would say "it makes him look weak", and Hardy deserves better, at least giving some sort of fight. A bit random that Edge decides before the match that he's too good for Hardy. The Ashley segment would have been really boring in a proper show, and I thought her music came on after the flames when I first read it. :p

OKish show, not sure about Eugene getting completely dominated after Finlay came out of his daze, though.

Desperate for my opinions arnt you...

Hardy challenge: Yes! Matt Hardy vs Edge feud! Great stuff, wish this would happen in real life

Batista/D&D: Slightly random, but ok I guess

Finlay/Kane: No real reason given by Kane for his little scare tactic. Seemed like there should be more to it

Finlay/Eugene: Squash match, not much needs saying

Ashley: Waste of time...

Finlay/Long: How come Finlay was scared of Kane and now he wants a match with him? Doesnt quite make sense

Cruiser match: Is this the Finlay and Kane show? They are involved in everything. And why is Hornswoggle still being seen as a proper contender?

Masters/Guerrero: Good announcement with Masters, he will be a good contender

Flair/Masters/Batista: The match was good, Flair doing the job to help Masters get over. Batista as a US Title contender is a de-push though. He should be up at the top of the card

Hardy/Edge/Khali: So Matt will be going for the World Title after being destroyed by Khali? That makes him look properly weak. As much as I want an Edge/Hardy feud, I want a good one, not involving Khali.

I didnt really like this show as much because of Finlay and Kane being involved in everything.

If you keep wanting my opinions then please do the same for my story

Yeh i am basing the Hardy/Edge fued on the old Lita thing. I think Hardy deserves it.
I agree with you about Finlay and Kane, i used them too much.

I think Masters is a good contender and i needed a good face to be a contender and i didnt think Ric Flair would be good enough, so i chose Batista.

The trouble is, i don't know where i can involve Batista at the top, as i am using Edge and Hardy.

I will do the same for your story, but which one, there are so many :p

Oh ok, i will take a look at both of them. What do you advise me to do with Batista, after the challenge for US Title.

I thought that the main event pretty much always had the Champion on the show in.

ECW ON SCI FI
John Morrison opens the show. He talks about how he has been wrong and has won matches and titles for totally the wrong reasons. He tells the fans that he understands why he is booed each week, and wants to mend his ways. He talks about who is going to be the next challenger to his ECW title. He says that this time, he will be doing it for the fans and not for himself. This brings him a great cheer. At this Randy Orton appears, and takes a mic as he gets into the ring. He tells Morrison that he is by far the best on ECW, and will destroy anyone or anything to get his hands on the title. Then Jeff Hardy comes out. He says that last week he would have beaten Orton if it wasn’t for Umaga, so surely he should be the number one contender. At this, Umaga comes out and shouts some Samoan. Umaga starts to beat up all three men, and then here comes the chairman of the board, Mr McMahon. He tells the four men, that in the main event tonight, there will be a tag match. It will be John Morrison & Randy Orton vs. Umaga & Jeff Hardy. If the winner is Morrison & Orton it will be Morrison vs Orton at Summerslam. But if Umaga & Jeff Hardy win, John Morrison will have to defend his title in a triple threat match against both men, at Summerslam. So Morrison better make sure he wins.

Match 1: Rey Mysterio vs Marcus Cor Von
The crowd are behind Rey, but Cor Von uses his power and strength to his advantage and throws Rey around the ring. Rey tries to challenge, will some highflying moves and gets Cor Von down, as he gets up he trips him into the ropes. He goes for the 619, but Cor Von knows what coming and ducks out of the way. He gives Rey the Alpha Slam, and then goes for the Alpha Bomb but Rey counters, hitting the Mysterio Rana bringing Monty to the floor. Monty kicks out of the pin, and Rey makes quickly for the top rope. He hits the West Coast Pop, as Cor Von gets up and 1..2..3. Its all over, and a win for the defiant Mysterio.

Mark Henry comes to the ring and talks about how he is the Silverback and unbeatable in the WWE. He complains that wherever he goes, he never has any competition, and wants someone to really give him a challenge. Out comes Big Daddy V with his sidekick Matt Striker. Henry begins to look worried as Big Daddy enters the ring.

Match 2: Big Daddy V vs. Mark Henry
Big Daddy gets the early advantage; he gives Henry several chops in the corner, but Henry counters and attempts to lift up Daddy. Using all his strength he picks the big man up and slams him to the ground. He then gives Big Daddy the Worlds Strongest Splash, and once he stumbles to his feet, locks him into the Bearhug. The ref calls for the bell, and Henry has again won. He then goes about attacking Matt Striker who runs from the arena.

MVP comes out and tells the crowd it was a fluke that Tommy Dreamer won, and he wants a rematch, he demands Tommy Dreamer to come out. Out comes Tommy…

Match 3: Tommy Dreamer vs MVP
MVP gets the early advantage hitting several Irish Whips, and a couple of hard closelines. Tommy ducks out of the ring, and MVP follows smashing Dreamers arm against the steps, Dreamer is thrown back into the ring, and MVP works the arm, kicking and beating it, profusely. He then hits the malicious intent to the side of Dreamers face, and pins him in the centre of the ring. A defiant win for MVP.

Match 4: John Morrison & Randy Orton vs Jeff Hardy & Umaga
Randy Orton and Umaga begin and Umaga takes the advantage, with several hard punches and kicks. He then hit the Superkick on Orton, who then lay in the corner setting up the Samoan Wrecking Ball. Orton ducked and Umaga missed, which gave the advantage to Orton, who tagged in Morrison. Morrison set to work on Umaga, who wasn’t bothered by the punches and kicks to the body and shoved Morrison right across the ring. He then went for a closeline on Morrison, who ducked and Umaga took out the referee who lay there knocked out on the floor. Orton then came into the ring, and gave Umaga two low blows, and then an RKO. Umaga rolled out of the ring and lay at the side, not moving. At this Jeff Hardy got to the top rope, and when Morrison turned around Hardy gave him a flying closeline. He went for the whisper in the wind on Orton, but Orton countered, who trips Hardy up and gives him the Randy Orton Stomp, before a Jumping Knee Drop. Morrison and Orton then double teamed Hardy leaving him lying there on the floor, as Morrison got the referee awake, before pinning Hardy for the win.
