The 2017 County Project

I did it manually then had to simplify it to make it work in game. Couldn't find a good enough pic either. I tend not to auto trace much though.

It depends. Auto trace can be very effective if you can find a sharp image over, say, 1000x1000. Sometimes I import the image into photoshop first and set the threshold so that it is black and white. Then auto-trace becomes much more precise.

I've decided to take it upon myself to round up the best creators on DBC 17 in an attempt to update the English County sides for the upcoming 2017 season. We'll have updated squads, correctly assigned bats and the 2017 season kits upon their release.

What's Needed: Reference Images for 2017 kits, squad lists with bats used for each county.

Does the teams have the grounds up to date to..?

As up to date as you'll find. Note, due to the limitations of the stadium creator you will not find completely 100% accurate grounds. Some are close, but for example, it isn't possible to reproduce things like the Lord's media centre or pavilion.

Notts have released their kits for this season. Good luck with the Trent Bridge silhouettes @inertSpark

Had to make my own silhouette from a stock photo to make it look ok. Think I did reasonably well.

Need an image of the reverse too if there's one around.

It's a similar challenge to the silhouette of Pretoria on the Titans shirt.

Actually a lot easier than the rose on the Yorkshire T20 shirt that I did. Looks hard, but really simple in reality.

Sponsor typeface isn't quite right on that. Wouldn't stop me using it though.

I only used the existing one off the academy for the draft version. I did actually notice that it wasn't quite right yesterday so I will make another to use for the final version of the shirt. 3 minute job so no sweat.[DOUBLEPOST=1489600822][/DOUBLEPOST]
Here is the back of the Notts One Day/T20 shirt

Fantastic, cheers! This is what I was hoping for, that there was no printing on the reverse.

I think the RLC shirt is different though, has a different angle of Trent Bridge

My understanding from the Notts official post is that the silhouette is the same but I could be wrong. One thing to note is that the collars on the two limited overs shirts are different. The t20 has the v-neck as seen in my above picture while the RLC has a traditional collar
