Concerning the race issue, the Civil Rights Movement, has done quite a bit in easing racial tensions-like affirmative action(the prefering of minorities in certain University or job positions.) When compared to other multicultural societies, especially France, we can see how multicultural societies can function if some laws are passed concerning racial tensions...

Please stay on topic, this is about the VB series not about crazy fans or the reason why they are crazy.

Ok aussie1st.

Very crucial game tomorrow which will decide who plays Australia in the final.

Its today for us overhere ;)
SA are in the box seat with the two extra game in hand which means SL have to win this one. SL then have to doing some praying that Aus beat SA twice or at least once.

Interesting story about Katich. The first time Katich played at the opener's spot recently (I think against the World XI) he impressed me. I didn't know he could play that good there. And he is the highest runmaker for Australia in this series so far and has already three fifties. So far he is doing a good job at the opener's spot.

Actually technically Katich is alright but still boring to watch. But Jaques wasn't a treat either so either of them can play, Katich obviously due to his experience etc.

I think the Aussie batsmen as a whole, have had a pretty average series. Wasn't Gilchrists 100 the first for australia?

Its not just the Aussies struggling to makes 100s. SL and SA also only have had one player making a 100.
The problem has been that the top order have got starts but don't carry on. By the time they are out the middle to lower order can only make 50s.

That is true, I just expected more from Australia.

Man Jaysuria was on fire there and fell to a very good catch. Smith has 2 wickets, yesssss, at least I will get a few points for him this time.

I don't understand him taking the powerplays when he did though, the first one is understandable I guess. But the second one? I mean Mubarak did just lose his wicket but Sangakara is a better player anyway. And Jaysuria got most of the strike. He should of kept it back as the rest of the Sri Lankans arn't anywhere near as threatening.

The problem is that they don't have many other big hitters. Sangakara can hit it but the rest of them don't seem to have much power. They need a player like Kemp or Symonds to give them balance.
