The DDCA are claiming that the Lankans "chickened out" of the 5th ODI.. this is complete rubbish! first of all they can't even prepare a decent pitch and now they're going on making stupid claims like this.

Its an attempt to hide their face. Chetan Chauhan (shameless tool) went on saying that Sri Lanka chickened out of the game. And Daljit Singh (the head of our BCCI pitches committee) says almost a similar thing but he says it in a more polite and decent way (he says the match should have gone on, but the players thought about their safety and with the series already being decided and all that). THIS IS INDIA!! All this happens here and keep happening.

They should make the guy who said Sri Lanka chickened out face an over from Malinga on that pitch. Im sure the tv rights would make a killing!

What a disgrace for an official and former test player to insult a visiting team like that, for not playing under horrendous conditions. Gotta love India.

Chetan Chauhan is an idiot who spent his entire career in Gavaskar's shadow without ever scoring an international hundred.

He was never a good cricketer and is now seen to be a pretty bad official too. I agree, perhaps they could have taken more measures to continue the match or play an exhibition or something, for the crowd of over 45k and the 2-300million viewers watching at home. But calling them chickens is a bit much.
