plz reply

Younis Khan....Ha.
Boucher. Not for me. There are better keeper-batsmen in ODi cricket than Boucher.
Harris. That's laughable, considering he's not even in the South Africa ODi team.
Pietersen opening is also wrong, he's not an opening batsman.
Steyn also has a poor ODi record so far.

My team:

McCullum
Hayden
Ponting
Pietersen
Chanderpaul
Hussey
Flintoff
Vettori
Lee
Mendis
Bracken

I think that team could take on anyone. The 2 openers would get the team off to a flyer. Then a middle order of Ponting, Pietersen, Chanderpaul and Hussey is matched by no other. You then have the all-rounder Flintoff with his devestating batting and brilliant bowling. He is followed by the bowlers, Vettori can take wickets on any track with deception and guile. Lee is the out and out paceman, Mendis will spin the ball on anything, and decieve the large majority of batsmen in the world with his "Carrom" ball. Then you have the number 1 ODi bowler in the world, Nathan Bracken. Seems a pretty immense team to me.

Indeed, a pretty fantastic team. Agree with all of the choices.

I agree with that.

Mine would be:

:hpraise:hpraise:hpraise

Graeme Smith
Kumar Sangakkara (wk)
Ricky Ponting (C)
Michael Clarke
Kevin Pietersen
Shivnarine Chanderpaul
Andrew Flintoff
Chaminda Vaas
Brett Lee (1)
Shane Bond (2)
Ajantha Mendis

12th Man Sehwag :happy:happy:

^ Dude Shane Bond doesn't play international cricket. As for Vaas, he's too old, not nearly the bowler he used to be, and Flintoff is in poor batting form.

Here's mine:

1) Gambhir
2) Jayasuria
3) Sangakarra
4) Tendulkar
5) Kevin Pieterson
6) Micheal Clarke
7) Andrew Symmonds
8) Brett Lee
9) Harbhajan Singh
10) Stuart Clark
11) Ajantha Mendis

1) Virender Sehwag (5)
2) Gautam Gambhir
3) Sachin Tendulkar/Ricky Ponting
4) Kevin Pietersen
5) MS Dhoni +*
6) Shivnarine Chanderpaul
7) Michael Hussey
8) Andrew Flintoff (2)
9) Brett Lee (1)
10) Ajantha Mendis (4)
11) Nathan Bracken (3)

Bench: Muralitharan, AB De Villiers, Kyle Mills, Graeme Smith

Disagree with splitting up Sehwag/Gambhir to accomodate Smith and think that Ponting at three would be a better option. I also rate Stuart Broad as an ODI bowler moreso than Flintoff and rate Broad as the more adept lower order batsman.

Yes, but Flintoff has the potential to move up the order if needed. And on second thought, I agree with you about splitting Sehwag and Gambhir. I've edited my post.

You have got to be joking. Broad is no where near as good as Flintoff (yet). Broad is a pretty good ODI player, but Flintoff is the complete package.

I think his team is flawed because having 8 batsmen/all-rounders and only 4 fount line bowlers, 1 being an all-rounder makes bad balance.
