Xbox 360 v PS3

What type of games are you looking for, there's CoD4, Halo 3 (overrated), Oblivion, Bioshock, Gears of War, Fight Night... There's a very big list of good games (unlike PS3 .)

Just to point out that 3 of those are on PS3. The 360 has a better games catalogue at the moment but soon the PS3 will overtake with GT 5, Little Big Planet, Home and MGS4 coming out and more games being made for the PS3 then ported for the 360 like Burnout Paradise was.

Still, I agree with your point on Skate, I've got it on PS3 and its a really good game.

Doesnt it have frame rate problems on the PS3? or is that a non-HD tv exclusive.

I think the PS3 games catalogue will get close, but I don't think it will overtake (did you mean to say "Overtake with GT 5" overtake with a racing game ). Blu-ray may offer more storage, but how many games use that much space anyway? Quad-layer DVDs can store 20gb... I don't think any games have used anywhere near that yet and probably won't do.

I really want to take the credit for that pun now. The future catalogue just looks more healthy than the 360 and the games will get much better as it gets older, we show to remember its only been out a year. The 360 has been out for nearly 2 and a half years. The quad-layer BD's may be able to hold up to 100GB I think in the future and recently a lot of developers have come out and said that they'll include more in their games because of the room. The reason games haven't used that much so far is because the technology hasn't been available.

Heres a post which will be marked fanboy but it's true. I think most people prefer 360 reason being; theres a hord of people who have had to get their 360's repaired more than once, try out the PS3 but always end up going back to the 360's just because of the enjoyment you get out of it.

Tbh for £250 when it came out it was a crap console, a next gen console souldnt be breaking down but the service of Microsoft and the online side not to mention the games are amazing!

I've got a ps3, Played on an Xbox 360 and have to say: ps3 wipes the floor with Xbox 360 in my oppinion. Exclusives are better, graphics are slightly better, free online play etc. There's nothing the Xbox has that the ps3 doesn't.

Gotta agree with you mate. My oppinon is not like that though. My friend who has the Xbox 360 I play on agrees that ps3 is better. I have played on his Xbox 360 alot and I borrowed it off him for 3 weeks when he went on holiday. I give my oppinion form thoroughly playing on both consoles.

Xbox360 > PS3 as far as online play goes. Sony has never been big on supporting online and I get the feeling they'll be behind Microsoft this time around too. For overall value its PS3 hands down.
