Meh I've tried getting into Splinter Cell but just havnt been able to, been a MGS guy ever since number one. Although I like the whole concept of the new SC being a bum and all, too bad I don't know the full story :(

wow splintercell wooptydoo lol. Like I said mate the ps3 exclusives easily beat the Xbox ones. I mean what has the 360 got realy? Those who don't have a ps3 or have never played on it can't realy judge. Ok it is rather overpriced and the fact they discontinued the 60GB ones isn't great for everyone else but personally from longish experience on both(been playing on Xbox 360 longer than I've had my ps3) the ps3 beats it. Alot of my friends agree exept those who have never played on the ps3 and act as though the sun shines out of the Xbox's erm.... usb port?? but you know what I mean. It's all down to personal oppinion realy.

Personally I don't think PS3 has better exclusives than 360, the only ones I can think of are MGS4...for me anyway.

Yeah I have not seen many PS3 exclusive titles that really made my mouth water. Xbox360 also has Assassin's Creed which is one of my favs. Anyway, personal opinion and all, yeah.

See here
The PS3 has Outsold the Xbox 360, for a second month. And that's old news too. :p

I would say, especially after the defeat of HD-DVD and Sony becoming the sole HD format vendor, PS3 sales will pickup and its game catalog would overtake the 360's in an Year.

Assassin's Creed is on the PS3 as well. The future exclusives for PS3 look great, MGS4, Home, LittleBigPlanet, GT5. We've gotta remember that the developers haven't had that long to properly work out the PS3, there'll be better exclusives a year or two down the line. The 360 has been out for 2 and a half years.

The thing is, and i've said this so many times its untrue.

Both consoles offer something differn't.

Xbox 360

1. Offers gamers an awesome online experience, with downloading of games, demo's and add-ons.

2. The online experience in games is second to none, with voice-features with the mic, and overall experience.

3. If used offline can become rather dull unless you're really into gaming alone. If you want offline gaming solely, go for the PS3.

PS3

1. Looks sexy!

2. Is quiet, and is perfect for those Blu-ray dvds.

3. Decent online capabilities, but don't rival those of Xbox 360.

Both consoles have exclusivities, the only reason, and i mean ONLY one reason i'd swap the Xbox, is for the GT5.

You know what sucks about the PS3 and Blu-Ray?

It's so slow. Have you ever put a game in for the first time and had those insanely long waiting times? Yeah. It has to save bits of information into your PS3 so it loads quicker.

the 360 doesn't have to do that.

But whatever, I'm no fanboy of either. I have a 360 but don't play it much.

Xbox 360 is the BOMB! They have better games, better online play and that's why you have to pay lol. Xbox 360's aren't as reliable as the PS3 though but i'm glad I bought a 360 instead of a PS3!

What's that sound? Is it Tom's mum falling over (apologies to Tom)? No, it's me bumping this thread.

PS3 Update 2.40 on 2/7/08 included the following features:

In-game XMB
The ability to search the internet without having to open the browser beforehand.
Maximum friends capacity increased to 100 (I'd me amazed if anyone actually knew more than 20 people with a PS3)
Some random trophy system.

Yep, makes it so much better, and cancels out the positives that the Xbox owners have been saying about. It also means that when the developers produce a patch for the games, you will be able to play your own music. Trophies are only on one game I think at the moment, Super Stardust HD, but I think some games will be patched to include trophies.
