Nrl 2008

You probaly wont be able to believe it, since you know im an AFL man. But ive been really getting into and enjoying league lately! Its great, so much better than union i might add:p

Anyway, i was watching Manly and Sydney at like 1am last night and thought that try (dono their names) by Manly when they burst the pack with awesome speed was brilliant!

Unfortunetly i couldnt get home in time to see the Storm boys take on the Titans. Who won?

Yeah, Roosters are Manly's bitches. 3 games ago Manly won 42-2, 2 games ago they beat them 56-0 then just yesterday 42-0!

Dont know who won Titans and Melbourne. I didn't have the TV but Titans were up 12-0 after about half hour. Titans would have won cus Melbourne have 10 players out to injury and Titans are undefeated at home.

Good to see you getting into League, visit NRL.com.au and you can see video's of previous games. Check out a stgeorge game, we have won our last 4 :)

I have a question. What is the point of a scrum? I always thought they had to feed the ball in straight, yet it seems they always feed it on an angle and the team with the ball always wins.

I've seen a few times in Union that the other team has managed to win the ball through brute strength but never in League. It just seems pointless? But i don't know the rules of it...

PLayers used to have to put it through the middle but now it doesn't matter. I dont really know the point of it, but its better then a 20 metre tap because the attacking team gets an advantage when its 7 on 7.

The fire your coach trick always does the trick, got the Brumbies a title and the Waratahs made the Super 14 final this season.

We finally unleashed one of many stars from the u20 comp in Justin Carney, absolutely killed it similar to how Tony Williams went on debut. Now for Josh Dugan, Joel Thompson and Herbert.

Yeeewww Rabbitohs down the Titans:happy:hpraise:clap:D

STOKED!

Isaac Luke is brilliant! Great game by the boys, heart attack stuff like always :p

Moving away from that spoon :thumbs

Raiders v Sharks tonight should be a cracker. Sharks defence would be the best we have faced in quite a few weeks. Home ground advantage hopefully will be enough to tip it our way.

Looking foward to it. The Raiders have been good over the last few weeks but the Sharks have won a few in a row, should be a good game.

Good man! Finally you watch a real sport :p

Credit to the Sharks their attack looked a hell of a lot better than I thought it was. Defence was good yet again. Thought after we got the 12 point lead we were going to blow you off the park like our past games but Sharks hanged in there and ripper our right hand side apart. I see why you guys let go of Brett Kelly now!

I actually thought the Raiders would smash us as well after they got to 12-0. I can't believe the Sharks won a high scoring game - an extreme rarity. Who on earth is Brett Kelly?

Never heard of him and I have been supporting the Sharks since 1998. I actually thought you meant Kimmorley.

Anyway, last nights game was pretty boring. Only saw the second half as for the first I was at soccer training. Anasta was horrible and I was listening to Roy and HG instead of Gould and they were paying out on Anasta so much. Everytime Mason ran the ball up they would say "And here Mason, playing in the biggest game of his life!". That made up for a poor game I guess.

Don't think he ever got into the Sharks jersey but he was in PL for you guys a few seasons ago.

Had high hopes for Anasta following his form for the Roosters but yet again he can't transfer that to Origin. Gallen discipline was also a let down and Quinn got brutally exposed against Falou. We should have gone with Noddy or Finch as halfback more experience than Pearce.
