Beta Testers Update Thread

Review of this match:

Pro:
Thoroughly enjoyable and immersive
AI was robust forcing the user to think about tactics.
Both bowling and batting felt dynamic, eb and flow, sometimes on top, sometimes under the cosh
Match goes late into day five
AI played well, no slogs or stupid wickets, none.....
Pitch played well.....batters track, see the scores!
Variable bounce, variable seam, but little of it.
All in all a great match, and a proof that test match cricket is well and truly established.

Cons
The catching bug.
Human spinner seems underpowered, not threatening enough although I do have bowling on hardest.
AI bowling fieldsetting still all over the place and not match appropriate in lots of cases (is known!)
Stamina needs to be played with: can bowl Anderson for yonks without problems.

New testing scenario: using @wasteyouryouth 's excellent world cup 92 teams: he has done a lot of fiddling around with the various attributes and I want to see how they play...........ODI Random pitch settings.......

Interesting pitch maps........ Pringle slightly fuller length and more control.....subtle difference of Pringle conceding ten less runs.....

Right where are we after fifteen?

Aussies 2 down......second bowlers came in and two good catches in the gully:
