So where are we:

so I am trying to discover what is causing the nicks not being given: I also had a pad catch that was given....I think there may be something going on that the game is registering a bat instead of a pad and the other way round in some cases....I have turned semi auto fielding off to see if there is maybe something going on there. i have also turned bowling down to hard to see if that makes spinners more effective: I certainly feel I have a little more control with spin in this game........in terms of game play it certainly feels like those meandering middle overs you get in the middle part of an ODI.....everyone kind of waiting for the last 10 or 15.....

Beefy opens up the Border! Playing down the wrong line slightly.......words are exchanged, something about Border's wife......unseemly stuff....will AI have something left for the final push?

I have a serious question about that second dig of Aus in your last test. Would you say that that second innings from the AI deteriorated as it went on? I know in the Beta thread we have harped on and on about easier second innings. Especially because it was a good batting deck, that would be a huge step forward.

They certainly didn't find it easy and the ball wasn't as easy to hit hard off the bat....I think if I had had another 30 or 40 runs to play with it would have been very tight......I will need to play more to see.....will finish off this ODI and get on to the next game.....this is why a scenario editor would be so good.....just set up a game just the way you want it....would make testing much easier!

And that was that....tailenders slogged it about a bit....and a typical moronic slash brings the innings to a close:
Aussie will feel short changed as the were doing well after 25.....would have wanted to have got around 280 at least from there...

England's reply.....it's a very sluggish pitch.....it took me a while to figure out that i needed to let the ball come on to me a bit more....play quite late......it's got a bit of green on in but feels quite sluggish.........

Pros:
Again with bat and ball it ebbed and flowed.
Pitch conditions were noticeable: you had to really time well, got hardly any assistance of the pitch
AI was challenging especially bowling wise, no freebies and had tight and challenging fields
There were no super human catches, just good solid fielding.

Cons:
AI change the field too often in powerplays, however I started this match before the latest build and in the second part it seemed much better (it has been tweaked in this build)


Now in this latest build (today) some tweaking has been done to AI run-chasing...enabling them to give some wallop at the end of innings.....also the pitch visuals have been updated......will let people see if the can notice that.....I will play a T20 though I hate the effing format to see how AI does in a run chase...

Okay here we go: Twenty20 International:

Pro, batting medium, bowling hard, fielding hard,

Grassy but grubby pitch....nice: me batting as The Netherlands....see if we can put on a score.....what are we testing?
1. Six hitting easy/hard?
2. AI run chase (they are batting second so that's good)
3. The catches not being given.....have now got auto fielding....since then havent come across it.
4. AI death bowling and fielding.....do they want it?
5. Pitch wear...we have quick wear on.
6 Dynamic conditions? Grassy and hard, should be zippy, should be bounce, should be seam, should be swing under the lights and cloud cover.

Give suggestions as to how to play it in the discussion thread!

Bugger i have had to start my PC up again......something not quite right.....batting is either very hard or I am shite or a combination of both.......very very hard to get the ball over the circle....on medium!

So what i really love about the batting is that you really have to time the shot...not premeditate but really time the ball: look at this shot for example, a shortish ball just away from the line of the body and straight....this is my moment of input....and i play the ball behind square...this gives a real sense of actually batting and playing each ball on merit....
