AFL 2003 was a great game. It had everything - definitely I would rate it as the best AFL game. Still, it's a bit outdated.. hopefully this one is a bit better.

You couldn't trade or draft though, until 2005.

Mind you I hated how in the draft they'd all have current footballers names randomised so you'd get "Michael Judd", "Mark Sylvia", "Shaun Crawford", "Dean Kerr" etc. Really, really sucked.

2007 was probably my favourite, but way too many smothers.

2004 Premiership Editions.

Hands down the best, leads and marking were brilliant. 2005 had the worst goal kicking of them all. And yeah, the drafting of players with the silly names like Aaron Pavlich and Luke Cousins was annoying... But at least you could trade with other teams and they'd accept anything. :sarcasm

Haha yeah, but I remember tanking to come last one season with Carlton (for fun, so I could rebuild) and got pick one, but then when I asked for some other teams pick 37 all they wanted in return was pick 1!
