The pyro blasts in the entrance ramps at both ends of the Impact Zone here in Universal Studios, Florida. The fans cheer wildly in the completely full arena as the first Impact of a new era gets underway. Immediately Jim Cornette's music hits and he makes his way to the ring with a clipboard in hand. He certainly looks purposeful tonight!
Cornette: Hello and welcome all to TNA Impact, as you know I am Jim Cornette, I know we have some new fans joining us here at the premiere wrestling promotion after recent events and it is those events which bring me out here. First of all I want every TNA wrestler to get out here to ringside right now. Come on!
The 2 ramps start getting crowded as every TNA wrestler makes his way out. At one end Sting and his World Title emerge with Jay Lethal's X-Division. At the other the Christian Coalition is out in force, along with former champion Kurt Angle. Soon enough every wrestler is out.
Cornette: Now you are all here I can give you all an important message. As you know, we had a kind of joining with WWE this week. This has meant that really we are run by the same people. There is a big but though, you see at TNA we don't sell out. You can see that by the fact we are all still here, still strong as ever! Even Jerry Jarrett and Dixie Carter are around still and in charge. And I will make a promise here to you all that TNA will not become like the watered down manure WWE is. In fact I have a huge announcement. You see Survivor Series is coming up at the end of this month and I was thinking that since it is the first time TNA and Raw will be together, how about we prove TNA's dominance? What I am proposing is a good old-fashioned 4 vs. 4 Survivor Series match between the best Raw guys and the best TNA guys! What do you think of that Raw? Teddy Long, you better come on air on Monday and accept or we will be coming to get you!
Angle: Hold it, hold it, hold it! After what happened at Bound For Glory, you care about this little challenge? The most pressing issue here in TNA is getting back my robbed TNA World Heavyweight Title from you, Sting. So you come out here and hand it back to me or there will be hell to payl. Oh it's real, it's damn real!
Sting starts to make his way from the ramp into the 6-sided ring. Angle stares him down and tries to get into his face, but Sting plays it cool and backs off.
Sting: Angle, this title you say is "yours" was taken off your for one reason, you weren't good enough to beat the stinger! Face it Angle, you may be real, but so is this. I am World Champion. But, I am a fair man and you did hold the belt for a while so here is my offer. Survivor Series. Sting vs. Kurt Angle II - for the World Heavyweight Title. Are you up for it Angle?
Angle: You bet I'm up for it. I'll be there to take that back.
Sting: Well then, I guess that at Survivor Series it will most definitely be Showtime Folks!
Angle gets right up in Sting's face as he says these words and the two men stare each other down without coming to blows as Impact goes to a break.

As Impact returns JB, Jeremy Borash, is with the Christian Coalition.
JB: Christian, you had a titanic battle with Samoa Joe at Bound For Glory which you lost, but AJ and Tomko restored your pride a little it must be said, winning the Tag Titles. Your comment?
Cage: My comment? JB, what do you want me to say? I could stand here and say I am proud of AJ and Tomko for bringing the gold back to the Christian Coalition. I could say that I am disappointed to have been robbed of a vicotry over Samoa Joe. But what must be the most striking to you, the fans, is that my belt is left ungilded. I don't have the title and it pains me as much as it must pain you. But before I can go for that, I have to finish Joe. Joe may have won once, but revenge is sweet and I will take it. Joe, watch your back because the Instant Classic has his eye on you.
