Unfortunately Wide bug is still massive in ODI i simmed using default roster.
SA 164/10 (18 wides)
Ind 154/10 (47 wides)

For Example
The new bowler is Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
1.1 Bhuvneshwar Kumar to AB de Villiers, WIDE, The bowler loses his line and pushes this down the leg side. B Kumar is very luck to get away with just the wide

Now i have simmed ODI on Normal Pitch
South Africa 352/8 (20 wides)
India 353/8 45.4 (47 wides)

In most cases bowler bowled 3 Wides in a row.[DOUBLEPOST=1445519786][/DOUBLEPOST]

Sim doesn't show version number at the start like it used to.

Nope, I still can't reproduce that behaviour. Can you detail to me exactly how you're running the sim please? All your settings, etc. and what you're clicking on to get to the simulation.

I start sim with cricket.exe file
Gameplay options -
Speed - normal
difficulty - pro
rain , bad light - no
Variation , deteriortion - low
Batting aid - low
auto power - no
nightwatchman - no
auto reply - off
Field setting - advanced
Lineup - Manual

I sim match in Exibition Mode
Always use "Day"
Team 1 - Management Mode
Team 2 - Management Mode
Simulation - On

Try setting the controls for both teams to CPU. (Management mode is only valid if you don't simulate right from the start)

In CPu Mode , wides are much much less. However there is a minor shortcoming in CPU Mode . I can't use TOSS. I can't control which team bat/field first.
Management mode allows that.

Ah, just simulate each inning then. Don't set it to simulate when setting up the match. Set both teams to Management and Simulation to No. Then when the game starts, just set each team to CPU control and use the Simulate menu options.

Its not a convinient workaround. This method requires user interaction in the middle of the match , plus biggest drawback is simulation can be done only 1 inning at a time.

It's literally 2 clicks + 1 key press: ESC -> Simulate -> Inning.

It will be 4 times repeated process for each inning in a test. Also selecting batsman and bowler every inning.

Much simpler if management mode comes with wides fix.
Or
Uusing sim "Full Match" in in CPU mode along with "inning".
For Example
ESC -> Simulate -> Full Match.
