South Africa vs England, 4th Test Day 1 - Stumps!

England Doing Damage!

Strauss and the rest of the England have all rose to the challenge...well some of them have so far, but lets talk the positives for now, first of all Strauss has been amazing he is way into his 100 and has done his duty hasnt slipped up too much edged it a few times wide of slip but besides that it has been a clean knock to get his team in this amazing situation he has played some brilliant shots all around the ground with good use of the leg-side and off-side where he favours to play his large array of strokes and has done it with perfection today and England cant ask more from him as he remains at the crease overnight!

Kevin Pietersen is another one who has come in and played like it was ODI match has attacked from the very first ball wth fours and sixes and we have figured one of the reasons for this is because he hasnt made a 50 yet on this tour and for a player of his class is due for a big one and this is the right time to do so with no pressure or anything on his back as it it used to be back in the Ashes now he can really pull the game away in a short space of time, lets look at a few Kevin Pietersen special's shall we!?!?

Somthing To Smile About For The Proteas!

Well the South Africans have somthing to smile about and it was two very quick wickets in fact in the space of 3 balls Vaughan was playing steadily until he was undone by a slow ball which has been a problem for this side and he lobbed his faviroute cover drive straight to the fielder for a dolly.

Bell went in similar fashion he will be dissapointed though as he is one of the expected batsman to get big runs but failed to today again done by a slower delivery first ball he left it then second ball it was a full pitched up ball around outside off and being a top order batsman he shouldnt really be chasing them sort of balls and especially so early on so poor judgement from Bell costs him his wicket!

South Africa vs England, Day 2 - End Of England Innings!

Smasher Strauss!

Strauss has played a big big role over the course of the best part of 2 days for England he has scored a double ton and has put his team in a no lose situation with a lovley anchor role which was stable and got big support from the batsman down the order but Strauss kept ticking away and finally got the double ton which will be a big lift for the whole team for sure and they will set to take out the South African batsman with some pressure bowling!

Freddie Flintoff also played a huge and very effective role for his team and it was just as good as Strauss's knock who played the stability role but Freddie went out with one intent and that was to get the runs as quick and possible it was pretty clear he had said to himself that he's going to go for it and chance his arm and if he gets out early then thats that and if he goes on the fair enough luckly for England it was the later no so lucky for the Proteas who will now have to bat very fast to get close to the total...

South Africa vs England - Proteas Perish!

Engladn Grab Series!

England have more than anything embarassed South Africa today, their Innings started well and it looked to be a game on for a thriller of a series but after a run out many more came and it lead to a huge collapse, South Africa were 73-0 at one stage to 145-8 which is notaccpetable for a team of their caliber! However England are so relived that they have got a test series win under their belts and it will boost them ever more from here on to their road to the World Cup!

After bowling them out for 156 England ecided to enforce the follow on and this is when the trouble for SA started with a total of 7 run outs in that follow on alone totally shattered their chances of getting a result no one could keep on and England had one thing to do and that was to win, and they did so!

Harsh Calls By England!

Well England have seemed to lay down the laws here today Ian Bell has been left out of the ODI Starting XI we can see reasons why England head leaders said that they feel they need England to be a fired up side not a 50-50 sort of side that teams feel they always have a chance against so they want to make their mark going into the World Cup, so the ECB have said that they have had to make some harsh decisions so Ian Bell has been left out of the first XI for ODI's maybe not long term but they say they have way to many nerdlers so he has had to go suprise Strauss is still their...

Mystery Man............No Wicket Keeper!

Now you thought you had heard it all well you were wrong, England later on announced they want a batsman...who is willing to take the Wicket Keepers role, like a De Villiers or a Dravid a few years back, but their problem is who do they turn to surley not Monty! We can only guess who it is going to be but we will find out on match day in a little under 24 hours who could be a lucky candidate it must be a recognized batsman who has some keeping skill but who its very tricky to decide this one it could be anyone maybe a person from the team or not?
