Wow! Punk you've improved heaps in the last two updates. Well done to England too, they've bowled very tight!

Yeah I felt its time to step up a little I spose my other updates were lousy as hell, I was busy in kits and stuff so this was a bit of a side thing, but Im going to try and put even more effort into this story and hopefully by world cup time It'll be a solid story ;)

Thanks for the support to cull and the rest ;)

Just not good enough from South Africa, and England (barring a catasphrophe on the greatest of scales) will go 2-0 up in the series.

South Africa vs England, 2nd Test - England 2 Up!

England Get Through Despit Early Scare!

England have got through the rough and tricky total to go 2-0 up in this 4 match Castle Test Series, they didnt do it with up most style lost early wickets unecesserly with Trescothick going first flashing at a ball outside off and he went for a 0.

Then Vaughan went to a stupid mix up between the batsmen he didnt know what to do he was stuck in the middle of the pitch and in the end decided to walk off as he knew his Innings and role in this match was over.

Strauss went aswell towards the end he got a bit carried away with the big hitting side of things and smashed one but missed, he did get his team into a solid position, and showed he can bat aggressivly if he must do!

On the brighter side of things Kevin Pietersen had somthing to smile about he hasnt had the best tour so far with besides the memorable 200+ he made in te warm up. But today we can sort of say he was a hero 10+ runs were needed to win and he decided he would go after the bowlers or bowler rather himself and entertained us all with an over of big hitting even a 6 came but some amazing shots were played to get England to victory, the traditional Flamigo did the trick to!

Teams Pre-Match Press Release!

We can safley say it has been a somewhat one sided series, we never expected it to be like this but as it turns out it hasnt been a good home tour for the mighty South Africans, who dont usually go down like this.

All matches so far have been evenly matched and RSA in every game so far have had the oppertunity to seize the game by the throat and finish it off but they have so far failed to seize them oppertunities and win matches, so we nwo know the the players are there to win it but there not providing the goods which can be extremly frustrating so we shall hear what Smith is going to do about this!

Smiths & RSA's Troubles!

'Well I can start of by saying sorry to the fans for our recent performances, they havnt been what our fans are used to and we want to show them the respect they have shown us and the faith they have kept in us.

Secondly I think our team is of strong character and can step up their game if the will power is put into them and you can rest assured that in these next to matches of the test series we will do our up most best to try and draw the series as that is our next aim. We are keeping the same team as befor because at times we showed that we can be extremly destructive and take the game to the opposition, except we intend to do it throughout the next two matches and hopefully the rest of the series including the ODI Series'.

Strong words there by Greame Smith who is egging his side on and I am certain they will react he has called for the best to come out of his players and they will be hoping to spoil Englands party!

On the other hand England have been having a pretty easy time of it so we will have to see what their plans are to secure the series in this next match because were sure they dont want to be hanging around till the last match!

Easy England Camp...Or Not?

'Ummm our plans are simple we want to go in for the win were not planning to slip down or make smaller changes and let younger boys have a run in the side, yes we did bring Broad in because he deserved his chance and we will have a look at him in the later series as he is going to be one of our future bowlers if he carries on like he has been doing in county level.

As I said we have been training hard, this new training regime has helped our side alot and we go for a win everytime as thats what has to be done at this level and so far we have done that, Maybe a bit easier than we expected but we have to keep our tails up. Yes we have some really good news that Simmon Jones is back in the side hes played some matches up at Australia breifly to get his arm back and he is fired up to go, his net session was amazing and he will definatly add to the side and make it stronger than it already is'.

So then we have a game on for tis 3rd test match and both teams are pumped to get at eachother in this crucial match for both teams, England need a win to secure the series and SA need a win to stay in the series so stay tuned as coverage is coming up shortly. For now here is the expected team line-ups...

South Africa vs England 3rd Test, Day 1 - Lunch Break!

Looks like South Africa kept their word, or did they? We can tell you it has been a very different sort of morning session its had thrills spills and some big hitting to go with it, and also so classic play which should be admired.
So then we wont keep you waiting as we bring you highlights of the action and yes you are watching the right channel so dont think this is from some past series, here you go..!

Spills, Thrills.........& A Wicket!

Well England continued in their fantastic form we thought we would see a stronger and much definant South African side seeing as Smith was so pumped and saying how he will make sure justice is served, well he wasnt able to eat his words as in the first over of the match on the 5th Ball Harmison got Smith 1st ball, must be the worst thing for Smith as he hasnt been in bad form but then again nor has Stevy Harmison after that England were hoping for a few more.......well we'll explain down below lets enjoy the one thing weve had to shout about!

26963758zt2.jpg

Now then the spill was Geriant Jones who.......well he didnt even get a hand to it, Im talking about the Gibbs chance it was a thickish sort of inside edge and was definatly catchable seeing as Jones took one well wider of leg the other night so this should have been easier but Jones didnt even get a hand to it went right under his gloves and its proven to be a costly miss it seems now England cant look back at this and Jones needs to stay more concentrated than ever befor!

Gibs & Kalis Make England Perish!

So then South Africa promised us that there would be a tough game on and it seems to e just that despite Smith going for a first ball duck Kalis and Gibbs have other intentions and have proven to everyone that the old South African fighting spirit is still there and there going to fight till the very end.

Both of these men have been totally destructive Kalis has come in and is seeing the ball like a beachball and so is Gibbs whos timing and power has also been imaculate and it looks like these two alone are looking a huge 100's and are looking to make the job easy for the batsman to come in later on, who were assuming have the same intentions as Gibbs and Kalis.!

95241910ye1.png

So then we are in for a right old cracker of a match and it seems like England are under big pressure already from this two man onslought from Gibbs and Kalis and they urgently need a wicket or this match could be all but a win for England and thats not what they want, they clearly stated they want to end the series here in this match...well will it happen now you will have to wait and see!

Score Centre!

South Africa Scorecard!

Kalis 85*(88)
Gibbs 77*(85)

England Bowling Figures!

S.Harmison 10-0-52-1
M.Hoggard 10-0-68-0
J.Anderson 5-0-18-0
S.Jones 4-0-25-0

South Africa are 163 for 1 after 29 Overs!

Wow, SA smashing England's bowlers about now, it was crucial to get Gibbs, I suspect Jones place in the team has to come under some pressure if Gibbs gets a big one.

England really need quick wickets in the afternoon session.

South Africa vs England, 3rd Test - End Of Innings!

Well the firey attack has come to a quick end it seems but big big damage has been done and winning this match will be extremly tough for England. RSA have posted a huge total and it seem to be a competitive one the win is on if England bat very very well they need at least a few 100's or the Draw will be in sights and they will have to wait to the final test with some pressure on them which isnt what they want!

England End Innings With The Damage Done!

England have got rid of RSA but the damage has been done but we must not put England down they seem to be in good form but bad form can strike at any time and it usually happens when pressure rises, it will be interesting to see Englands approach on this huge target they have been set, surley they want to end the series today?!?!?

35140466ff8.jpg

So then Englands bowling was lets say pretty average they didnt bowl as good as other times and Freddie Flintoff who was used so late...only Michael Vaughan knows why did the damage and kept the pressure on, he got two really good wickets and is definatly the pick of the bowlers. Anderson also stood out bowled very well in comparison to the others!

As for Jone's return he can say it was a god one he got rid of the crucial batsman at a time it was needed and when the big attack was being taken to them by Kalis and Gibbs who both failed to get 100's!

Score Centre!

So good turn around in the series for South Africa and they will be pleased with themselves might feel they had ought to bat longer but the runs are on the board and thats what matters!

Both teams have time England have time to settle in and South Africa have time to knock them over, its a classic batsman vs bowler battle who will come out the tronger in this early but crucial at sages of the match?
