You seem like a fanboy to me, no matter how much you say you aren't. You haven't had a good word to say about the new PES but this new FIFA is apparently faultless. So before you go calling people fanboys maybe youshould take a look at yourself, every time you post about FIFA I know it will be positive before I read it and its the reverse for PES. You can call me a fanboy, I don't care, I thought i was one!

Yeah your right I don't have anything good to say about this PES, because frankley in my eyes it's not a years effort of a game. I've had good things to say about every other PES apart from this one........which I have said I will buy and enjoy.

On the other hand PES fans decide they know how FIFA plays on the 360/PS3 without even playing (And I'm not talking about you LF, just saying the majority don't give it a chance...) even if they do play it on the consoles mentioned above they won't give it a full go because it takes more than a day to get used to the new FIFA but PES fans won't have it...

But I think it's time we stop this battle....even though tihs is a PES vs FIFA thread lets not go to extreme extents, plus I reckon this thread might be useless this year as both games are totally different...

Both of the games are very good this year. EA Sports have really pushed the boat out with FIFA 08 and PES 2008 looks and sounds excellent.

Interesting how many times I've said I have always thought PES the better game but not this year because of what the demo has shown....

And I take offence to the people who havnt bothered playing it and asume it's rubbish.....

I haven't said it's rubbish since I haven't played it yet. Judging by past versions of both games and the large gap made by PES, I don't see Fifa closing it in one game. It was joke. I'll play it first to confirm that it's rubbish. (another joke)

I know it was a joke hence me saying i realised it was a joke but then I said I bet it's not because all your previous posts havnt had anything good to say about FIFA.

That was another joke! You just acknowledged it. I'll probably but Fifa but I don't have high hopes. There may be a few realisms in the new Fifa version hut I don't see the overall gameplay eclipsing PES's. I'll wait until I have both proper games to past judgment and I hope you'll do the same.

I keep forgetting my view on the two games, ones a much realistic simulation (FIFA2008) and ones a bit of an arcade pick up and play (PES2008)...

There, I'll still be getting PES2008 but yet to see which I play most.

Pro represents the beautiful game of today. Free-flowing football. Fifa is inconsistent and you struggle to get a move together because the actions and ball movements are near enough random and jerky.

Pro, in proper footballing sense, is more realistic.

If the game was that good, Fifa wouldn't have to resort to a manager mode, IMO.

This year Fifa will win unless Konami seriously change some of the ball physics and totally change keepers from the demo, I find it to ruin the whole game.
That is coming from me, and you know I have loved PES in the past, so there must be something wrong with it .

Ball physics? Why? Unless they have changed from PES6, I have no idea why you would want them to be changed?
