Started my first match as practice - Australia vs England T20 at WACA

Start of play delayed due to rain and match was reduced to 16 overs. England win the toss and elect to bat in this shortened encounter. The pitch was hard and crumbly and oh my the swing and seam Australian bowlers were getting. I am 118/8 in 16 overs and Australia require 119 in 16 overs.

Day 1 - 1st Session Lunch!

Match/Session Notes - England won the toss and elected to bat first on a belter of a wicket. Tricky first session with good swing and seam bowling initially by Starc, Hazlewood and Pat Cummins. Cook and Stoneman carefully negotiate the threat factor of those three bowlers. Nathan Lyon comes onto bowl at the end of the session and bowls really well. Ball is spinning from day 1 and it will be interesting as I have picked Dawson in my team. So at lunch England are well settled at 93 for loss of Cook on well made 47. Lyon got Cook stumped

Can’t it be randomly assigned by AI, at least the weather and Pitch.

Yes you can pick your opponents lineup and weather and pitch. I set everything to random. If you do not want to manually change it, the AI by default keeps the pitch and weather.

No I meant the pitch and weather should be randomly assigned before the team selection and displayed (not changeable) same way, AI should pick the AI team according to pitch and weather without letting Human’s to pick the team.

You can't choose the pitch or weather in ashes if I recall correctly but you can in casual!
