And we too put in a supreme performance to win our first home game of the season in the Bundesliga. Arthur Boka, the new signing getting his name on the scoresheet as well. Mario Gomes goalscoring form continues and he had pretty good game this time unlike in previous games when he wasted a lot of chances. The defence is looking good now with Boka in there and suddenly I am really optimistic about this season.

Another great display from Stuttgart, although our defence could do a bit better. Nevertheless, a good game for Sami Khedira and young gun Tasci continues to impress. Mario Gomez once again missed a few sitters, but atleast he creates all those chances.

The win sees us climb to fourth in the table and just one point outside a Champions League spot.

Up to second place now. Strellar finds some form in scoring that brace, and a nice goal by Hitzl as well. Gomez scores again!!

Our recent form has been awesome, but we can improve in defence and try and keep clean sheets from now on.

Two goals in the last ten minutes, and a top class performance in the second half especially, and we maintain second place in the league, a point behind Werder Bremen who unfortunately also won, and are now four points ahead of defending champions Bayern Munchen. Mario Gomez now has scored seven goals in the league this season. Jon Dahl Tomasson is definately leaving us in Jan. But the question is - where??

*TOP OF THE LEAGUE*

Came from 1-0 down to win the game 2-1 in the end. Shame about the red card to Hitzl, totally unnecessary.

A long time since I last posted here. The season is not going that well for us. Lucio's injury is also playing a major role, although Demichelis has played really well, also scoring against Leverkusen. I hope Deisler looks for making his comeback around December, which would strengthen the wingplay a bit.
Stuttgart at the top with a miserable start to the season, the top spot keeps changing every gameweek, so we can still come back.

Well we are top now, but like Hariz said, things can change very quickly in this highly competitive league. But our main target was, is and will continue to be a Champions League spot. Anything more is a bonus.

Our long unbeaten streak comes to an end against Bayern. It was a good game though. We really missed Hitzl on the left. Pizarro scored one and missed one absolute sitter in front of an empty net.

Third now, and a point ahead of Bayern.

With Bremen, Schalke and Bayern all winning on Saturday, we needed the win. It wasnt a spectacular performance but we got the job done and the three points. Hildebrand had a great game, and overall a good way to bounce back for us after last weekend's defeat to Bayern.

Back to third in the league and just two points off the top.

4-1 win over Werder Bremen today to move just a point behind them. It also gives us a 7 point lead over fourth placed Bayern.

Unfortunately Schalke also won and are now 6 points clear.

Can any of you guys who watch German football tell me anything about Andriy Voronin?

Well he is somewhat like Nicolas Anelka. Has scored some really classy goals from vollies. Done pretty well for Ukraine and along with Sheva forms a fairly dangerous strikeforce. I really think his physical nature will help him succeed in the Premiership.

Also for the record, Stuttgart's goal scoring fest continued this weekend (friday game) with a 4-0 win over EF. Bayern and Bremen lost while Schalke drew. Champions League football looking more and more likely now.

Stuttgart have won the Bundesliga!! First title in fourteen years.

Fantastic achievement by Armin Vjeh especially with the inexperienced squad he had.

Start of the season I was expecting a top six finish, which soon became a race for the Champions League places and in the last two weeks with Schalke losing, we suddenly found ourselves top.
