There could be a fix to this but it just makes it all that more far-fetched. You could make it so that, taking yours and Mark's game as an example. Mark bats for an innings, and then bowls for the first Australia innings. Then he send the file to you and your aim is to win the game from there.

The only problem then is that the second person as to play the whole 3rd and 4th innings in one go without being able to save.

Meh! Shame lads, nice try! I have finally got the game and would have loved for this to succeed. We need a patch!

I have soldiered on. I have resumed on Day 2 and pressed pause. Still have the SAVE GAME option grayed out. Not cool.

I will see what happens when my innings finishes. But for the moment, I am keeping the PS3 on until I complete my bowling innings.
