I think the most sensible thing to do is India should pull out from this series, as this is rather fustrating for everyone or they should move the matches to kandy as weather their is good.

It is raining season in Kandy. Best venue would be Dambulla, because it is in the Dry Zone.

I'm sure it would be nigh impossible to change venues, if they still wanted to produce an international broadcast for the game.

I hope people who bought tickets to go to the games were given refunds. I know in India, they often don't do that...

Why was this series scheduled in this rainy season..?? Im afraid for World cup 2011..good thing there are not lots of matches in Sri Lanka..

Maybe the authorities could do well with calling itoff completley.
2 match series sounds stupid
Instead they could have had it some where outside Lanka,maybe Sharjah.
Also,they could have roped in another team and put them on standy-by after the South Africans threatened to pull out.

thats true...both threats and climatic conditions have spoiled the series so for.... great loss for the sponsors i guess and also disappointment for all cricket fans!!!! :

You can't put a team on standby like that unless it's a crappy minnow team like Kenya or something. International calendars aren't settled at the flick of your fingers.
