As per the complaint, the cricketer was approached by Gill and Thakur for a selfie at the hotel and Shaw initially allowed them to get clicked with him. But when they insisted on getting more pictures with him, Shaw turned down the demand.

So looks like based on that article, Gill and her friends were the culprit. They forced Shaw to take selfies after he already obliged them with one. Once denied they broke the windshield glass with baseball bat and followed Shaw's friend. Complete hooliganism.

The amount of vitriol I'm seeing nowadays for Bumrah everywhere is starting to disgust me. Accusations of him prioritizing IPL over India and whatnot.. where were these fools when he was risking himself bowling across three formats? Even as of this day he's the Indian bowler with the most number of overs over the last 4-5 years. That's astounding for a pacer much less one with a risky action such as his. If anything his injury and workload in recent times has been mismanaged given how sturdy he used to be back in 2018-19.
