Pakistan might not play WC in India

Moving the games out to UAE may actually be viable. How long is an average flight between Pakistan and Dubai? The only issue would be for the tourists procuring visas and the like, and the expanded travel. Although I guess going from one end of the subcontinent to another may well take longer than taking a flight from India to UAE.

Me being heathen and all...... You see reports occasionally of tourists being arrested in places like Saudi for being caught drinking or a woman doing something wrong by Islam law? I know UAE is pretty western now, but what are they like for those sort of rules. If the Barmy Army went there are they all going to be arrested for cracking open the beer?

But yes, currently Pakistan playing in the UAE seems like a good idea. Only shame is that the poorer locals in rural Pakistan can't now watch cricket.

it's not possible.pakistan HAVE to play in india once the security is given a nod by the ICC and it probably will be.
or else,they will be replaced by some other team like holland or scotland

Actually, no. Even if the ICC gives security clearance to India, the Indian government will most probably not give visas to the Pakistani cricketers. Call it what you want, but I foresee the political climate between the two countries not having changed that much in a couple of years.

I'm sure rules and regulations like that would be sorted out. For one, no stadium in the subcontinent, to my knowledge, allows alcohol anyway. So shifting games to Dubai wouldn't change that drastically. If you're talking about pubs and the like, I'd think that you'd be more likely to find alcohol in a hotel in Dubai than Pakistan, but I do not have any empirical knowledge. zMario? A short Google search suggests that foreigners can buy alcohol at a restaurant or bar from a hotel (and there are gazillion hotels in Dubai).

You have to sacrifice something. I'm sure the Pakistani fans in UAE and even the team would prefer having a home base rather than having to play all their games in Sri Lanka or Bangladesh.

I agree with 99.99% part of your post. But one thing, I just don't think that the Talibans are humans. People who can torture women and children this brutally, people who can bomb places and kill innocent people, people who treat other humans like slaves, people who can kill and murder in the name of religion, people who can torture and behead other humans who visit their territory, people who can beat and whip somebody in a public place- WHATEVER THEY ARE, they just cannot be humans. To be a human, you need to have a heart. You need to have some kindness, some humbleness, some sympathy towards your fellow humans- they totally lack all these things.

I hope you have the same feelings toward people who killed thousands of muslims in Gujrat. They set them on fire, ***** and tortured them only for reason that they wanted an India that was for hindus only. If you can call them non-human I will put the taliban in the same category.

Yes, I have the same feelings. These bloody rascals should immediately be kicked out of our country. Specially that Narendra Modi, Jagadish Tytler and Varun Gandhi. Shame on them! How can they do these things! Muslims, Hindus, Christians, Sikhs- whatever their religion maybe, the guys they killed- THEY WERE ALL INDIANS. And if those guys who murdered the innocent Muslims and Sikhs in Gujarat and Delhi were true Indians and if they really loved India- they could never have done these type of horrible things. They are just some criminals- criminals police can never arrest, because they live under the shade of different political parties. This is the most tragic part of Indian politics. To me, The Taliban, The Al-Qaueda, The Shiv-Sena, The MNS, The Ram-sena- and all those UTTERLY STUPID, IDIOTIC SENAS- they fall in the same bracket. I HATE THEM.
