Why would you even say such a hurtful thing
So i can downplay the sadness if we lose, and overplay the happiness if we win. Gotta learn it to watch Pakistan play :p

Somehow managed to miss both games. :facepalm

Looks like Hafeez has secured his place for a few more series and the next tournament. Not someone I would want if he is not going to bowl but results are results I guess and he isn't the worst option in the world if you want someone to slog in the middle and death overs.

Had no idea that Mo was this bad in T20Is too. He was decent in the IPL for the last two years along with some good performances in the Blast and I believed that it would have been the same for England. Does England have a realistic alternative to him though?

I don't think this is a second string England XI, I believe only four players in Roy (Banton could still edge him due to his 'X-Factor') Stokes, Buttler and Archer missed out on this lineup.

Haris still getting scolded after nailing an almost perfect yorker last ball :lol

He is good. Work to be done, but a lot of talent there. A lot. Wahab is class in T20's. Pakistan have an outstanding bowling attack. One of the best in the world. Imad is so underrated. Shadab is another class act.

This should be the side groomed. I would 100% give Rohail Nazir a look in and I am not saying this because Haider Ali worked. You have 3 world cups in 3 years and you would want the same squad playing them. I've never seen Khushdil Shah so I cannot comment.

I agree with that lineup for the most part, but Malik instead of Hafeez? I'm not a big supporter of Hafeez myself, but you can't overlook his recent performances. Also, Malik hasn't really done anything for Pakistan outside of Asia in any format, let alone just T20Is.

This is precisely the problem. Malik is a fantastic T20 performer across the world. The outside Asia stuff is relevant in tests and not in the white ball stuff. Tracks in England are flatter than tile laid out apartments in the world now.

You can rate Hafeez's innings yesterday. Scoreboard looks nice but as I said before, where did he score and against whom? Mid wicket and square leg. Mindless slogging. He played one cover drive through the offside and it almost fell in Morgan's lap.

We will talk about Hafeez when the big day comes. IIRC, Malik won a few T20 games for you guys just the last series and played one innings here. It's a joke.

What I think is Hafeez is just trying to push the door for the selection in WT20 in India next year. And I get a feeling come the WT20 he would terribly flop. Exactly what happened during 2016 WT20 and 2019 World Cup. I don't think his performance in this series should be trusted much considering his history in big tournaments. Malik actually is someone who does deliver under pressure when the odds are down and out against him. He looks far better than Hafeez in pressure situations.
