23rd December 2007

Well today I recieved another letter from the Middlesex cricket board and have been informed of dates i will be training and meeting with the side. I am currently living in Suffolk and have been offered a flat near to lords by the chairman of the club. This is all a massive step for me and although only months ago I was pretending to be players such as Strauss and Shah in my backyard I feel i am ready for the challenge and am pumped for the occasion I will first get to represent myself to the players of Middlesex.

So, having been offered a flat in London about 5 minutes walk from Lords I rang up Tom Baker to see if he also had been offered such accomadation. When he answered the phone and spoke about being offered a flat i was excited for him but also happy to have a friend as I would be moving so far from home. When he told me the adress I was so pleased to realise we would be sharing a flat and living togethor for the next summer as we faced the challenge of both Twenty20 and training with Middlesex cricket. I was so happy and with the rain outside asked Tom if he wanted a drink the next evening as I was already planning to go out with some mates. He duly accepted and so I left it at that pumped that I was going to be living with such a good mate.

So I will give you a quick recap of whats happened since the time when we won the Scottish tournament. Suren and Sarvesh have both been offered positions in the First Squad for all competitions on full salaries for Middlesex. Awesome news for both and a chance for them to really shine. Although both are technically overseas players they have not been classed as and will only become if they choose to represent their country at national level. I am not dismissing this chance but it will take severe effort as Suren (22) and Sarvesh (21) have rarely been recognised till now. I have done little since the time of the tournament winning playing 1st X1 rugby at school and starting my A level year 12 being 16 (turn 17 next year MAY) I have thought a lot about dropping out from school and focusing purely on breaking into the Middlesex side. That decision i may leave up to others (YOU). Well Im having an early night and am pumped for christmas here is my letter from Middlesex.

So there we go. I will be back again to review my christmas but after that i will next update when I am Playing for Middlesex (TRAINING AND MOVING IN)

This will become more clear just keep reading and commenting thanks folks:happy
