PS4/Xbox One Versions Troubleshooting/Bug Reporting

I also mentioned about this bug a few post aboare. this started happening after the ps4 patch that was released a week or two ago.
Thanks for the additional information. I didn't play any career mode before that patch so I didn't know that it only started with the patch.

Platform: Ps4
Mode:Any
Description: This isn't the biggest problem but the short fine leg and short third man count as outfielders.

because if you look at the field setting in the academy, they're technically outside the circle.

Which is wrong. The whole point of short 3rd man and short fine leg is to bring fielders in the circle so the fielders can be pushed out somewhere else.

Platform: PS4
Mode: Offline
Match Type: ODI/T20 competition
Over Count (Match Overs + When Occurred): N/A
Ground: N/A
Teams: All teams
Get Best: No
Description of Issue:

As mentioned before regarding the points system in the world cup being incorrect. The Bowling statistics for the whole competition are completely wrong, just noticed that user C A Iversen has mentioned the stats problem too. I noticed this in the world cup and also in the 16 team t20 knockout. From the overs bowled to 10 wicket hauls the figures are incorrect. One bowler bowled something like over 1000 balls, conceding 2300 runs and taken 204 wickets....in only 4 games played!

I have mentioned this multiple times aswell and it happens for almost every tournament but if you restart tournaments enough you will get the right stats...

@BigAntStudios, I was going to buy PS4 version of DBC but stop myself because it seems there are so many bugs at moment just like PS3 DBC without patch and some more.

It feels instead of fixing, concern suggesting either to alternate way or fed up fixing the bug on PS4/X1. At least they must consider these bugs and tell us whether fixing in any new patch or not. Also no update about PS3 patch-3 till yet.

Saying this does not mean that its buggy game. Its one of the best game of cricket undoubtedly but constructive criticism must be there for further improvement.

Hopefully they will consider this positively and update us if new patch coming on PS4 & patch-3 on PS3

Thanks BA studios for bringing one of the best game of cricket for us :)

They confirmed a patch on PS4/Xbox One before the game came out:
We're working on the next patch, we need to see what comes from the PS4/Xbox One release as there will be new players and new opinions/ideas that will come from it.

There is no definitive timeframe however I can say that the order of release will be Steam first and it will be then rolled out to the other platforms.

Platform: PS4
Mode: ODI Tournament
Match Type: 10 Over ODI's
Over Count: Straight after last ball of 10th Over
Ground: Trinidad
Teams: West Indies Vs New Zealand
Get Best: Yes
Description of issue: In single player tournament. As soon as I'd just completed my innings, the game crashed on me. The error given was CE-34878-0. This exact scenario played out earlier this week after several sessions of a test match I played with a friend and we lost all the data there too.

This one is infuriating and my 5th crash since getting the game. As it doesn't seem to happen in editing, just playing, I get more crashes playing on this than any other PS4 game out there right now.

Platform: PS4
Mode: Career
Match Type: County Championship (4 Day)
Over Count (Match Overs + When Occurred): Issue occurred in 3rd Innings, approx 30 overs
Ground: Lancashire Stadium
Teams: Hampshire vs Glamorgan
Get Best: Yes initially, then downloaded additional custom teams.
Description of Issue: Initiated bowling run-up. After about 2 steps, screen goes black. Crowd noise continues (see video below) and I'm able to go back to the ps4 home screen, suspend and resume the application but the screen remains blank. I try to save using the fact I know the layout of the pause menu, but nothing happens. Despite the crown noise continuing, no control input seems to be accepted. This has now happened to me 3 times within the first 10 First Class matches in career and seems to delight in happening when I've just finished a particularly good batting innings that I've not saved, in this case, my 2nd Career century, progress now lost.

Please fix this as it's incredibly annoying to lose this progress. I know I should save every few overs except you then loose the BARS data for your innings and It's great to be able to see your wagon wheel for a long innings. I was hoping the new Suspend application through rest mode feature on PS4 would mean I'd never have to Save and Exit mid-match again but while this issue exists it looks like I'll have to keep doing that. I lost well over an hour's gameplay which is really significant for someone who only has the opportunity for 3-4 hours play per week.

EDIT: I left the screen up this time in the vain hope it might recover and after about 15 minutes the PS4 closed the application and displayed the following error code:
https://db.tt/sbnkw9lG
sbnkw9lG

@fiction hopefully this will assist you in identifying and resolving this issue.

I've experienced this error a few times whilst playing GTA V so I don't think it's specifically DBC related.

Hi Guys - first time post here. Wanted to post about a bug I encounter quite frequently, and see if it happens to anyone else?

Platform: PS4
Mode: Only played Career so far, happens often.
Match Type: Any.
Over Count (Match Overs + When Occurred): First Over
Ground: Any.
Teams: Any.
Get Best: Not sure what this means?
Description of Issue: My career player is an opening batter for Middlesex, however had started many other careers for other teams and seen this happen a lot. On many occasions, my player and his batting partner will be coming out to bat the first ball of the innings, and the first ball I will face is actually the 2nd ball of the over. On one occasion, the first ball I faced was the 2nd ball of the innings, and the first ball was hit for 6 by my player. Middlesex were on 0/6 off 0.1 before I had even faced a ball.

Another time my player was striding out to the crease, only for the scoreboard to pop up and start simulating to when my player was next involved. My player had been "caught" first ball and because of this, I didn't get to face a delivery that innings..

Does this ever happen to anyone else?

I find this happens if you simulate and your team bats first. The first ball is simulated then you face the second. I noticed when I wasn't an opener.
