i reckon spain will win on penalties
I don't know if I could survive that if it happened.

I've heard some rumblings that Ra?l will start (still unconfirmed). I hope that he does becase Spain needs him - they just aren't the same without him.

Yes his presence generally lifts the rest. I would probably play him instead of Luis Garcia, and just behind the two strikers Villa and Torres.

My starting XI v France

---------------------------Casillas-----------------------------
---Ramos--------Pablo-------------Juanito----------Pernia-----
--------------------------Alonso-------------------------------
Joaquin-----------------------------------------------Xavi-----
--------------------------Raul---------------------------------
-------------Villa--------------------Torres---------------------

Yeah ^ looks like a Real Strong team to me.

Joaquin also brings that special something to the squad. I see Ra?l dropping back to win balls for Torres and Villa with Joaquin flying down the wing to provide service into the box. I can't wait to watch it!

This one will be a cracker! :D. I think Spain will take this chance because also France did have a very good performence until now, their group stage was terrible in my opinion.

Well i'm not to sure about the change of formation, but i did think Senna played well.Anyway i hope France win, only becuase they have Henry and Veira.I think Three up fonr is needed especially if France play both Veira and Makalele.

Not too many surprises here in the starting lineups. Cesc in for Senna and Ra?l in for Garc?a.
Spain: Iker Casillas; Sergio Ramos, Pablo, Puyol, Pern?a; Xabi Alonso, Cesc F?bregas, Xavi; Ra?l, Fernando Torres and Villa.

France: Barthez; Sagnol, Thuram, Gallas, Abidal; Makelele, Vieira, Rib?ry or Malouda, Zidane; Henry and Trezeguet.

Referee: Roberto Rosetti (Italy)

Spain hold the advantage, 1-0 after a well taken penalty from Villa. I wouldn't be surprised to see Torres get a lot of the ball...

Today it's been tennis, cricket, football for me in that order. 1-1. I think this might go to extra time.

Edit:

Not good enough to beat France!

Zidane Rules!
