I watch this film like 6 weeks ago in cinema and it was alright.
I did enjoy the film because it had a great story but some was boring but then again it was great film.

Well I am going to see Slumdog tomorrow, and I will write a nice review of it, depending on how good it is. Going in with an open mind though

Yea I was amazed at the humans rights abuses that go on. Bloody sick!
Great movie though way over hyped and they sort of ruined it for me with the whole song and dance at the end.
I still think the Curious Case of Benjamin Button should have won Best Picture.

And for all those who are saying this is a Bollywood film, you wish mate, its an indie flick produced and directed by Brits. Just because a movie is about India does not make it Bollywood. No Bollywood film has ever won an Oscar (although 2-4 have been nominated)

Gandhi (the film) which won an Oscar was also not a Bollywood film , just to inform any moron who thinks it was.

Oscars are too much over-rated, it's the public who rates a movie/bad. We have many more movies namely Taree Zameen Par, Traffic Signal, Nayak, 16 December, A Wednesday.


Who cares about the director whoever he was, he made a good film and for the MORONS who are here saying India is shitplace and all, it's not you who are here in India, we see the development happening, going to Google and posting the image result about Indian slums is easy to do and start criticizing, we see things changing here.

I am not judging anyone based on anything. It is an undeniable fact that India is one of the biggest users of child labor in the world, 2nd only to China.

If you want I can show you hundreds of pictures from the last year.

There have lots have efforts has been made to stop these and it is pretty much controlled now. Now every poor child is given free education. You will still see slums but there are many steps taken to stop these.
