You never know what might happen. Maybe NZL win the home series cause they in good form. Might be a close contest. :cheezy:

I fear South Africa's strong batting will be too much for NZ's inexperienced bowling attack. Our team is depleted; no Shane Bond, Nathan Astle, Craig McMillan is injured, we cannot find good top order batsmen like the South Africans have.

However the series is heading into the NZ autumn so the pitches will be green and juicy which may suit our bowlers more.

That's no surprise. I saw some highlights of the game and the Northern Districts batsmen were just having a slog. They didn't seem to have any intention to win the game, eight of the wickets were the batsmen's fault. The first wicket to go (James Marshall) he just left a straight one and it took off stump.

Poor batting.

Northern Districts finished last in the NZ domestic one-day series. :(

I think the test series will be a 0-0 draw and SA will win the oneday series by 2 games.
The series will be close, not a thrashing.

You have to remember that in February and March the pitches here in NZ are green and most of them are drop-in pitches because of the Rugby super 12.

The South African batsmen will not be able to perform like they did against WIN. New Zealand are very good playing at home so I think most people will be surprised with the results.

Yes!! SA win the first ODI. Comfortable in the end, but NZ did awesome to put pressure on rudolph and dippenaar in the middle overs. Pollock had me bitting my nails.

Nz 225-8

SA 226-5

MOM - Graeme Smith 72
