I think South Africa will win the series despite being defeated in the WC.

After the great West Indies performence gainst Free state, who do you guys think is going to win the first test between SAF and West Indies?

As for me, I now think West Indies do have a good chance of winning, even though they only performed well against a domestic team. But South Africa have a good chance also...

The West Indies are a dangerous side to play against but I think south africa will win this series cause the West indies rely to much on Brian lara, if brian lara doesn't perform then the entire team won't perform

I would say that West Indies are the favorites in this series coz SAF has just lost a test series against Pakistan (although they won the ODIs) but Wes Indies have done quite well I think against Zimbabwe so West Indies confidence must be high and the recent form they have shown against South African domestic side would have given them a great morale boost. But South Africa can comeback from any situation(IMO) so according to me, this series is going to be one of the best as both teams look quite similar and have enjoyed much of the same form as of late (IMO).

the windies seem helpless.
and why isnt ravi rampaul playing,he is a very talented young fast bowler.he should have been playing in place of drakes.
