Right, everyone keeps asking the question so this thread will have all the details.
South African Stats were edited
End of Day 1: 294-9
Run Rate 3.26 an over
Bowling Figures:
Roach 15-1-37-2 2.47
Taylor 15-2-45-2 3.00
Edwards 17-2-63-2 3.71
Bravo 16-1-57-2 3.56
Benn 27-3-92-2 3.41
Run rate perfect bowling econ's spot on.
Spinner bowling huge amount of over's and going at a normal steady pace.
South African adjusted stats:
Smith = 90
Petersen = 85
Amla = 81
Kallis = 86
De Villiers = 83
Prince = 81
Boucher = 70
Steyn = 60
Morkel = 52
Parnell = 57
Harris = 48
Standouts in the game were De Villiers who hit an unbeatedn 130.
Now interesting to note they were 190-4
I did not adjust it much from Boucher downwards and as expected they collapse a little bit.
Parnell was the only tailender i adjusted slightly and he hung around for 82 balls to score 16 and make sure South Africa batted to the end of the days play.
Please not these are not final stats people such as Amla i would have rated higher etc however i am just experimenting.
Boucher will need to be at least 80. He has test 100's and plenty of 50's so without a doubt is an 80.
Also worth Noting Kallis went first ball to an inswinger bowled and Smith who was well set got an inswinger to get him LBW. It required good balls to to get them and even thought highly rated a good delivery will dismiss them as like real cricket.
More to come. But close to the perfect days cricket!
