Day One done then... how did it go?

We had an absolute wobble when Tajul Islam took three wickets in two overs but Calum MacLeod on debut steadied the ship for a fifty and then Captain Ravi did what Ravi does and got us to a very good 240-4 on a pitch that is turning, albeit slowly.

Should've bowled Mosaddek earlier and a lot more. Tis all about the spin although they've decided its all about the Mustafizur...

And so Day 3 ends with England *checks notes* in a strong position! Graham Gooch having the captains inns to end all captains inns. Currently paired with his good mate Davey Gower sitting on 61*. Now to carry this on for another 2 sessions and hope the pitch isn't actually the featherbed it has been for the 1st 3 days.

Another couple hundred and then Tuffers with a short leg = victory

Was literally the next ball :lol

Obviously I'll be all out in a minute due to the unique way the team is made up. But I'll take the 100 odd run lead

Right on queue...

Hopefully with a bit of a lead and plenty time left we can force a result. Pitch suggests otherwise. A lot resting on The Cat and part time Athers I reckon.

Props to Merv here, still managing to come out with some credit, despite Australia toiling away

7/110 on the day gives you hope there’s enough in the pitch
