Geez, Brett Lee is seriously acting like a w***** today. He is a fine bowler but most times he really does have an attitude problem.

How so?

Hes just compeditive.

Boo Hoo. Get over i. Hes just compeditive.

Well Sri Lanka have steadied the ship with the middle order putting up a good fightback, showing alot of courage along the way. However with Arnold and Jayawardene both gone for half centuries respectively, it will be tough for them to post a total that will ultimately prove a threat to the Australian line-up. This performance so far allows the Aussies to pace their innings without taking any stupid risks, so here is the big chance for Katich to show his worth.

Why get so sensitive over it. Every bad post about an Aussie player you are the one who gets so sensitive. All I said is that TODAY he is acting like a w*****. Sledging to the batsman early on after about every ball, throwing the ball back at the stumps even when the batsman was home. And also it is competitve, not compeditive.

Great stuff from Lee, Clark and McGrath, Hoggy with his first tough innings for a while, but the Perth surface was never going to suit him.

Interesting choice to play a bowler as the super sub, if we lose the toss as we have the last two games you're effectively playing 11 on 12. Jimmy Hopes seems suited to the super-sub rule as it stands, particularly if we are called upon to chase.

I so agree, I hate watching it to be honest. What ever happened to the smile and laughing when a short ball hit someone? (Providing they weren't hurt)

Unless this is a spelling bee, I don't really give a toss. Why waste time spelling between overs. I don't want to miss anything.

I don't get sensitive over players. Lee is probably my favorite aussie player at the moment. Mabee you don't know what ****** means, I don't know how calling him a ****** has anything to do with his on field behavior. He was getting in their faces a bit much. I admit. The throwing at the sumps was prehaps a little unnecessary. He is competitive. He still bowled very well.

I thought him giving the ball back to the crowd was a very nice thing.

???? Where did you get that info from?

It isn't correct, I am presuming, from what you said.

Brilliant performance once again from Stuart Clark. Everytime he is given a genuine opportunity he capitalizes and performs consistently. Katich providing solid assistance to Gilchrist's enslaught currently.

Anyone that thinks Gilly is out of form. Just take a look at his amazing 50.
Katich doing alright he has blocked out 2 maidens inside the first 10 overs but oh well at least hes still in there. Heres hoping the selectors give Jaques and Gilly a go as I want to see what they can do together.

I agree. I have said a few times on these forums that I believe Clark should be in the side, especially over the likes of Dorey. But hey, if they want to try things out fine. Now it puts pressure on Brackens spot in my opinion.

THe commentators mentioned Gillespie and that the selectors said hes not being counted out. He just needs to keep up with getting results. He got 2 wickets today. Tait got 4, but tait bowled 11 runs worth of wides which is a worry. Both were economical. I hope both get given a go. But we've discusse this many times before.

I noticed that, I can't believe they didn't talk about Tait being given a go. Good to see Tait getting wickets at the death although I can't see him bowling at the death at the top level with his control.

Murali has slowed things down as alway, I wonder if Aus will try for the bonus point. Probably not given they only really need to win this but if Gilly is still there we will be in for some entertainment.

Edit: Murali just got whacked for 6 :D The last time I saw that occur was Fleming last year.

It may have looked like brett lee was getting in their face on tv but im pretty sure all brett lee said was you gotta use your bat mate.
And the second one he asked are u ok.

Which is why the sri lankans didnt reply or even worry about it.

If he was in their face given them crap they would have responded.

I really can't complain about Katich so far. Hes scored at a better rate. Was a little slow early but thats fine.

I think Murili has copped a few sixes since Flem blasted him everywhere. It is pretty rare though.

Its really good to see Gilchrist back in form.

The 3 blues are so under-rated (Phil Jaques, Stuart Clark, Nathan Bracken). They really do deserve to be in the team and GO GILLY!

Jaysuria dropped Katich, just when I was going to come here and say, he failed again, he missed a perfect opportunity with little pressure on. He needs a big score this innings. Best chance for 100.

It was a pretty bad attempt really.
