They were.But not now.Saw their defeat against New Zealand in the 1st test?
Zimbabwe was a stong team around 1999 when Niel Jonson played.

India under 19 if not 15 can defeat that team.

I voted for india. Reason is that I think NZ will lose pretty badly as their confidence will be sky high(over confident) after a 2-0 thrashing of zimbabwe.

India will prolly prepare differently and improve their performance from the Indian Oil Cup.

There is no hope for zimbabwe for a few years I should say. They used to be a great team with Alistair Campbell, Olonga, the flower brothers. Even after the world cup they had a pretty good team. Stuart Carlile and a few others had some excellent performances in the VB Series in 2k4

India are playing in tournaments where they are sure to qualify for the final.First the Indian oil cup although they had to play well against the windies and now they will meet NZ in the final.

India lost every single game to Sri Lanka, this past Indian Oil Cup, but every game, was very very close, and India at some point in the game, were always on top. Then when a wicket falls after a long partnership, India self destruct. If India can find a way to close out games, I think they should have no problem beating New Zealand. They came very close 3 times against Sri Lanka (the 2nd best ODI team in the world)

I remain optimistic, so i'll go with my team and say India will win.

I voted for New Zealand.But my reply was for nightprowler10 because he said rediculus things like Zimbabwe winning the cup(sorry if I heart anyones feelings).
I meant that India will make it to the finals surely.
