To be fair Wanderers seems smaller then it actually is due to the altitude. Ball flies further on the ground.
As to the pitch just like in the 438 game there were some balls that did seam and bounce early on so it wasn't a total road but once you got in with the fast outfield and altitude and became a fantastic place to bat.
