because it had all the stadiums including Peshawar.
had real names and gameplay was good.

Best batting and catching system, cannot go back to previous games with no 360 batting and no catching system

After ten years, BLIC '99 is going to lose its crown in my opinion. Two short weeks and AC 09 will become its rightful successor.

And in 6 weeks Cricket Revolution will toss it's hat into the ring. It's actually starting to become exciting times in the cricket gaming world. Doesn't happen much but I'm grateful it has.

Yes indeed, cricket has been screaming out for some real competitiveness between gaming developers. It has to happen someday - maybe we are nearing it.

i liked ea cricket 04
it has almost everything in it
all stadiums
all events u can chose host nation for world cup i am missing that feature that days
u can go on tours

i hope next game have these options

I'm almost certain the next game in the Ashes series will build massively on the content side of the game, as well as the overall polish of the game.

It has to be AC09 for all its flaws.

BLC '99 was awesome for its time, but would undoubtedly be generally horrible to play now.

The titles in the EA Cricket series were generally horrible (virtually impossible to bat) even if Cricket '07 was the best of them. BLC '05 was fun but arcadey and far too easy in SP, whilst BLC '07 inexplicably failed to correct many of '05's problems and even managed to take the fun out of the game.

As mentioned on the first page, the ICC series ifb though. Just so much longevity.
