Which foreign player would complete your national side

I will take a Gilly for opening with Tamim and keeping. and any decent pace man (Mitch) for BD

Bangladesh is an interesting team, if your only allowed one, what do you do? bowler or batsman?

And which current player, not Gilly

batsman Id say, Mortaza and Hossain are good young bowlers. But it wouldn't hurt them to have someone like Kallis, bit of both.

Kallis...wait nah... wait yes... god damn it!

Sangakara..ya..

would take Pollock but current, so..

A few names in your all time test team that would fit anywhere. Amazing how many of them are West Indian. The Windies teams of the eighties and early nineties were absolutely a joy to watch!

And Dhoni is?

Relly? Those two pitches in Sri Lanka where Asif picked up 17 wickets were a fast bowlers dream, the ball was moving all over the place. But his record in Pakistan is very, very average. 25 wickets at 42.

A good captain. A MUCH BETTER CAPTAIN!

It's nature at it's work - thread evolution. ;)

Another player i'd like to see for India is Dwayne Bravo. What an absolute lift in the fielding that would be, plus talismanic performances with both bat and ball.

Agree with that. Bravo for Yusuf or Jadeja would be a great option. His batting, bowling and fielding all are very good and he would give great balance to the side.

Bangladesh could use a paceman from what I know of their current guys. But probably a batter would be more beneficial to them.

and i will give you Mohammad Rafique, as you asked for a spinner :p. Hey he is better then what you have right now.

you might not know him (as a player and performer), but hardcore Bangla fan Stinky and Dare would know what kinda player he is. those 2 knows more about BD then i do

Bangladesh need a batsman like Dravid/Ponting/Kallis. Someone who can stay in the middle and be the anchor of the innings.

Speaking about Pakistan we need a goo batsman, Probably an opener. I would probably go with Andrew Strauss. Pretty solid player with a strong technique, temperament and has a knack of performing when his team needs him most

I'm with Dare on the Steyn/Asif thing.

I remember that series and it was Ntini that did most of the real damage with the ball. Steyn's tally was boosted considerably by picking up tail enders after Ntini had worked his way through the top order. Tail enders are obviously important but india, with an army of spinners, need someone to get the first 5 out.

Jacques Kallis please. Our best all-rounder is Luke Wright ffs, we could do with a decent all-rounder in our side, especially one as good as Kallis.

Strauss
Cook
Kallis
Pietersen
Trott
Collingwood
Prior +
Broad
Swann
Anderson
Onions

Looks pretty nice to me. Heck of a batting line-up and 5 more than decent bowlers.

You pick Kallis and it means we have 6 South Africans and 5 Englishmen! :p

I do agree with your arguement that, yes they were tailenders, but someone has to take those wickets. A wicket is a wicket and all are important.

I'd love to see someone like Chris Gayle open for England; aggressive, arrogant, attitude!
Plus he'd be England's best spinner!

I'd pick Johnson for Bangladesh. Spin is fine with Shakib, Naeem, Enamul Haq Jnr, Mahmadullah, Mehrab Hossain Jnr., and Razzak. Our batting is doing okay with Tamim, Shakib, Raquibul, Naeem, Mahmadullah, Mushfiqur Rahim and Aftab and Nafees when/if they return. Also add Ashraful's name to that list if you want, although I wouldn't. Oh, and there's Alok Kapali for spinning/batting too.

But our pace attack is very weak. Well, very raw. Mashrafe is the spearhead, and then Shadat, Nazmul, Rubel, Alam all need some more time. Syed Rasel is a medium pacer anyways. Johnson spearheading the Bangladesh pace attack with Mashrafe, and lengthening our tail, is perfect.
