who are top 10 attacking players international cricket

You can't say Pollard completely attacks. At deep crisis times he plays patiently before hitting much. And also he is poor at the big bowlers.

Depends what format. I think of Sachin as an attacking cricketer, but that might be more to do with the mindset I see in him than his actual stats.

An attacking XI:

Sehwag
Gayle
Dilshan
Watson
Morgan
McCullum
Afridi
M Morkel
Steyn
Malinga
Ajmal

Tait, Tamim, Pietersen, De Villiers, Lee, Nannes, Gul, Haddin, Pollard, Tahir, Ryder other notable mentions.

I like it. But if this is playing 11. Why is McCullum so far down. Personally M Morkel is not that good. I don't see wat people see in him. I get the height and all but not as good as someone like Zaheer Khan. Who is at the prime of his career. I think you are also missing Bell. Imran Tahir again is not that good. De Villiersdeserves to be in the team for Dilshan

Saeed Ajmal and Tahir are no way near to the most aggressive players and for your information, I've seen Tahir from when he used to play in English County,

Both are very aggressive bowlers espacially Ajmal.

I have mentioned a 11 man squad instead of top ten,and if these guys play from one team, then they just need 1 or two of them to perform to win the whole game.

Vivian richards-
No bowler dominated him in his era, even without the helmet he dispatched
bouncers for sixes with ease,he was a nightmare for the bowlers.

Virendar Sehwag-
Perhaps the most consistent attacking player in the history of the game.

Chris Gayle-
The hardest hitter of the ball,he can murder the opponents on his day.

Yusuf Pathan-
The only problem in his career is that MS Dhoni doesnt want him in the
team,he is a very talented cricketer who can change the game in a matter of few overs, has
been a game changer under warne and gambhir who support him and trust his abilities.

Shahid Afridi-
Well, when he gets going, its just 'game over' for the opposition, younus khan
was the only guy who could utilise him to his true potential and won the t20 world cup.

Sanath Jayasuriya-
He revolutionized the one day game,he changed the role of openers in the one day game,he was the one who started the trend of hard hitting openers.

Adam Gilchrist-
one of the best openers in the history of the game, will put the opposition
on the backfoot right from the first ball,he made the best use of the powerplays.

Kierron Pollard-
He is the most Dangerous batsmen to come lower down the order, the opponents can never feel comfortable nomatter what situation it is till they get pollard out.

Andrew Flintoff-
What can be better than having a guy in a team, who can change the game
with both bat and ball, very few players have had a similar impact in cricket.

Dale Steyn-
He is the most difficult bowler of modern cricket,he can produce a wicket from
nowhere with his pace and aggression.

Mitchell Johnson-
He can be dangerous on his day,he is never easy to get away with, his speed, action, angles that he bowls are all a menace for a batsman.

McCullum is so far down because thats usually where keepers bat.

M Morkel is that good currently. Since his come of age series vs England in 09/10 he has pretty much silenced his critics (myself was one) that he is the real deal & was not going to become Nantie Hayward 2.0

Not sure what makes Bell an aggressive batsman comparable to those picked in this line-up in your estimation.

How is Tahir not good?.

De Villiers over Dilshan is fine.

Yes, but there are much better bowlers to choose comparatively to whom these bowlers in my opinion are less aggressive.

Ajmal at the moment is best offspinner in the world in terms of variety. He is the most aggressive offspinner at the moment.

Okay, my friend. Everyone has their own thoughts and reasons behind that and we both have different thoughts and reasons behind our thinking. Lets keep it till this much, buddy. Don't want to make it a heated argument on such small things. I hope you would agree for sure, correct, mate?

Come on mate, we know McCullum can cause more trouble at the top. It is better to have him up there even if it means moving Ryder to 3.

Personally M Morkel is not for me. I know he has proven thecritics wrong at times but there are other better bowlers that deserve his spot. M. Aamir being one (I know he is banned though :lol)

Tahir has only just been introduced to international cricket so batsmen might be struggling to read him a little. Take Ajantha Mendis for example. When he entered international cricket. He was called the mystery bowler and no body could pick him. Now everyone can play him mostly. Maybe in a years time if Tahir is still as good. I am ready to take back my words.

Off Topic: And he is supposed to be playing for Pakistan rather than South Africa. This really annoys me. Its a world Cup. You can't play players from other countries in your team. Its not fair. Take the England team. KP from South Africa so is Matt Prior. Eoin Morgan is from Ireland. And many more can be named. It is an unfair advantage.

Ajmal at the moment is best offspinner in the world in terms of variety. He is the most aggressive offspinner at the moment.

Have to say, I have to agree with that. (Not only because I am Pakistani.) Probably the best spinner going around no doubt. But Pakistan a re a team that contains one of the best bowling. Other people have other views which is equally right. But Ajmal doosra is legandary.

gayle is in most attacking form now
