No, the game does not use Wii Motion Plus.
No, you do not swing it like a real bat.
No, you should not buy it.

Thank you and goodbye.

No, I have not bought it but you should try and read reviews.

Okay then, whats the bat for that uses Wii Motion Plus and simulates real cricket motion? Overall, I would agree and wouldn't get the game, but my mate bought it and he said it was a bit of a laff.

I'd say itd be for if a cricket game ever came out with M+. And you only swing to time your shots, not aim them. If you want to make it an authentic experience you can try and play the shot for where the ball is going.

So wait, does the wii bat support the features stated earlier in the topic or are they not compatiable with wii cricket?

So, does this mean that the wii cricket bat is supported by wii cricket and allows for the features stated above

Thats like everything about the wii though, you can put little effort and get the same result as putting a lot of effort in but it's still the same result, it's all about how authentic you want the experience to be.

In all honesty milzy, none of us really know.

It is a piece of plastic in the shape of a cricket bat which does absolutely nothing besides making it odd to bowl using a bat.

I have the wii version and omg it SUCKS.
It has an EXACT 100% copy of Brian Lara.
I have it on my NTSC wii.
I am VERY disappointed in it, believe me you will not like it.
Stick with the PC version

Well I got it for christmas. It seems alright to me. I find the bat absolute crap so I just use my remote to manually aim and then swing. It's too easy to bat I reckon and the fielders run beside the ball rather than to it to pick it up which gets annoying. Since I didn't use my money to buy it, I don't really mind but I think it would have been a waste if I bought it myself.

Thanks for this. At least this game got the ball rolling for Wii cricket. We'd expect big improvements in a year's time.
